Jets' fiery Scott loves to stir the pot

He backs it up on the field

"Why are you in this game? You're in this game to be the best. You can't be the best without believing you're the best. So I'm not here to say, 'Let me bow down' or 'Please don't beat us too bad.' Let's go out and play and smash each other in the face, and see who comes out on top."

Sounds good, Bart. We'll see you on the field. We'll be the ones in the end zone.

I hope Bart has a hissy fit and throws a flag again!

That's the guy who went postal and lost it for the Ravens against the Pats in 2007????

At least he was one of the two who turned the L into a W for the Pats.

The other guy will be wearing the headset on the sidelines.

I found nothing wrong with his comments.
Nothing wrong with them. Jets fans and Dolphin fans have been talking that way before games for years. But it is juvenile and rather silly, don't you think, having the need to puff your chest and beat it with your fists while you scream out how good you are:

"We know who we are," he said. "A lot of people hide behind safe words. But how great can you be if you're scared to step out and say, 'I'm great'?

Umm, Bart? The really good ones aren't afraid to step out and say their great. They don't say anything because everyone knows they are great. The ones who wannabe great but aren't yet are the ones crying, "kookitme, lookitme, lookitme."

Jets game plan will be the same as it was when the Patriots played the Ravens in 07. Grab and hold, scratch and claw......repeat, grab and hold scratch and claw.......repeat.....

Your going to see a lot of holding by the Jet D in this one.

Until something else significant happens, his legacy in games against the Patriots is flipping out and throwing a refs flag in 07.
I really want to see the Pats in no huddle all game against the Jets. Spread them out and don't let them set up their exotic blitz packages and they are nothing special. Let them get their footing on D and they can be scary.

You're not paying attention, Bart. The Patriots talk all the time about their greatness; they say it on the field.

What are you talking about?

Can you help refresh my memory on what he said back then please? I remember some Raven D in the locker-room (right after the game) saying that the ref's gave the game to us and how the NFL wanted us to keep winning. don't remember if this was Scott.

Thanks,

I think Scott said something naughty in Portugese.

Anyhow, we appreciated it!

"Duos faoltos!" said amidst giggles in the booth!!!!

Bart Scott = 5 alarm nutty

Honestly, if I was Bart Scott, I literally could not have gotten back on the football field again after that. Guy showed the maturity of a spoiled 4 year old on MNF. Seriously, I would've killed myself if I embarrassed myself that much in front of so many people. So, kudos to Scott for still being alive.

If there was one player id go into a fight with it would be Bart Scott, hate on him all you want, but the guy is a fighter, not the heartwarming type that inspires you, but the kind that punches you in the mouth. Hes not afraid to start a fight, the only thing im concerned about with him is getting called for unsportsmanlike conduct for taking a swipe at someone.

You really think the Jets will get multiple safeties? I guess I can see it . . .;)
