We're not dead yet: I was told Edwards and the offense look stellar at practice... - Buffalobills.com Message Board

Don't know which is funniest, the original poster's claims that the Buffalo offense is installing "undefendable" plays, that the "o-line" looks good and has no major issues, or the replies of other Bills fans calling for the thread to be deleted. Enjoy!

Here is the start of the thread:

I got a call from a source and was told the offense is literally putting together nearly undefendable plays and executing them quite well. The offense has been simplified a bit but relies on a different pace where as they actually have mini get togethers at one time and then hurry up to the line on others. It actually is difficult for the defense to get a pace set at all and T.O. / Evans have been getting to area's that Trent is not normally accustomed to throwing, past 10 yards downfield. The underneath stuff is waiting but Trent is actually passing longer than we have witnessed all of pre-season.

I am not saying that we will destroy the Pats but it looks like a solid gameplan is coming together so we score early and often, however frightening that sounds. I have been hyper-critical of the team as of late and still have a tough time fathoming anything close to what I am being told but scarily I believe DJ cannot sit by and watch his job slip away.

Plan on the Pats not leading at the half and the Bills making a point of saying we're here to the world come monday, my popcorn's in the micro.

P.S. The O-line looks good too, no major issues."

I'm surprised that there as pragmatic as they are, thers not very much yahooism. Most posters laugh at the "i got a phone call" even the guy with 35,000 posts  seems pretty resigned.

It's a fine line between devotion and delusion...I give them the benefit of the doubt in their devotions until they actually take the field, then it's just delusions of grandeur

Glad to hear their 11-on-0 drills are going great. My insiders tell me they're now down to needing only 2 plays to score.

Regards,
Chris

Well, as many of the Buffalo fans point out, that is only because the Buffalo O is going up against the Buffalo D with all their new plays ;)

I can think of at least 4 games in the Belichick era in which Buffalo jumped out to a two score lead only to cough it up by the end of the 3rd quarter. It's become something of a annual tradition.

Congrats you found the remaining 5%

I guess you missed the "laugh" symbol. The point was some humor. Seems like you could use some.

Most Bills fans are aware and fully ready for the beatdown of epic proportions we will recieve monday night. However there are some with the rose colored glasses still on expecting the Pats to magically be bad monday and confuse with our "new" OC calling plays. If by some miracle the Bills win I would gladly eat crow, but as a Bills fan I'm already braced for the worst

We had a maroon like that here for years until Ian finally banned the "I got a phonecall" cretin.

Well, I got a phone call, SUPER reliable source, says the Bills will suck LARGE this year.

It was my granny.

It probably won't be that bad as the Pats tend to start a little slow, and we are all waiting to see the "real" debut of our reconstructed secondary and how the run defense is without Richard Seymour. I expect the Pats to win, but I doubt it will be a beatdown of epic proportions.

If you don't think it will be a beatdown I got 2 words for you: **** Jauron. He is the worst coach I've ever witnessed im my life and I have no doubt that he can take a closely contested game and allow it to be broken open by opposing teams

Yes, he's from Marblehead MA and his brother is an attorney here in NH. I guess the cat is now out of the bag as to why the Bills keep losing to the Pats. Jauron is a closet Pats fan (now outed).
