The Pats currently hold the 33rd pick in the draft.

:D Man, I love those high 2nd round picks (as long as we don't draft Chad Jackson with them).

Neither team looked very impressive. The Steelers had no running game at all, and were very lucky to come away with a win at home.

Other positive. These defenses would have TROUBLE facing a spread offense.

The Titans blew it with A LOT of mistakes. Dropped balls for first downs and two missed FG's. Good teams don't make those kinds of mistakes at those important times.

Its not something I like but That long haired girl getting injured makes that defense less dynamic, and the Colts not having Bob Sanders of the flying walendas is good for us as well. I think we are heads and shoulders above all the contenders.

It's just game one so it's a little early to be thinking that far ahead, but still, from what I saw of the game, the 4th quarter, both teams looked mediocre.

I mentioned it in the game thread, if Polamalu is gone for the year, wouldn't there be some karma going on? Remember the Steeler fans who made the "Bernard Pollard" fan club shirts last year...

Damn it man.. it is just so weird to see Tedy in a suit and tie. :(

bad coaching by the titans

if your only going to bring 4 to rush what every one back in coverag why not press the receiver

they where playing 5 yerds off the receivers

i dont get it they just sit back and let big ben beat them

i think its funny that we are "head and shoulders" above everyone now that polamalu is injured...did you see that ridiculous commercial

yeah, that didn't make much sense to me either.

That said, both teams should have scored more than they did. Hopefully that's a good sign that these two teams are weak[er].

I dunno how u guys feel but I think the Patriots would move the ball with ease vs the titans, when it comes to pit there d is awesome but Brady has a strong track record vs there zone blitzing scheme.

I wish the Steelers nothing but the worst.

I'm indifferent to the Titans...but they're largely irritating.

Does it help that the Pats own their second? :)

I cannot for the love of god stand the pump fake and the amount of love the pump fake gets.

Put that **** up against the Pats in the AFC Championship game. I double pump you Ben.

Like, did you have to mention Chad Jackson now that Holmes is officially a star?

Agreed. Also there was their QB's bizarre clock (mis-)management with 2 minutes left. Strange to say this given who their coach is, but the Titans looked too poorly coached to be a championship team. I'm optimistic our Titans pick will be around #48.

DON'T WANT TO POUR ICE WATER ON ALL THE ENTHUSIASM HERE, BUT IT'S A LITTLE EARLY TO CARRY AWAY OUR FOURTH LOMBARDI. NEITHER TEAM SHINED, BUT THEY'LL IMPROVE-BOTH ARE WELL COACHED & HAVE SOLID D's.

REMEMBER WHEN THE BILLS BEAT US 31-0 IN THE OPENER, & WE CAME BACK TO WIN THE SUPER BOWL? I'M JUST SAYING WE SHOULDN'T GET CARRIED AWAY BY THE FIRST GAME.

YOU'RE RIGHT ABOUT TEDY. HE'S A NATURAL. I'M SURE HE MISSES THE TEAM, BUT HE MUST BE GLAD TO BE EXCELING IN THE STUDIO & TO SPENDING MORE TIME WITH HIS FAMILY.
