Harrison would love a bounty on T.O.

Rodney Harrison doesn't have to honor Bill Belichick's one-voice policy anymore.

Harrison doesn't belong to the New England Patriots anymore. The former safety is an analyst for NBC. So he can say whatever he wants about an upcoming opponent......."

I guess we are all hoping to see that ;)

This is just stupid.

He joked when he said this and everyone laughed. This was taken completely out of context.

Lock this thread.

Perhaps you've been living under a rock, but Rodney has never claimed to be classy. Do you honestly think that he's the only guy out there with this opinion?

now someone will start rumors that pats had bounties when harrison played but it never made out. its not a big deal but i get the feeling rodney will at some point say something he shouldnt have.

He's the only guy dumb enough working for a major media outlet to say this

How about that allstar?

He's speaking his mind. Do you have a problem with that, fussy britches (see? I can spew out lame insults as well)?

i only wish Rodney wouldn't be so reserved and would just come out and say what he means instead of beating around the bush all the time.

Only funny.

Don't give away the fact that it was a joke! I like seeing this guy take what Rodney said all seriously. It's humorous.

........"

The best part about Harrison's comments is that they are 100 times more classy than that scumbag T.O.

To me, it looks like Ralph Wilson is starting to take after Al Davis... Bring T.O. to the Bills was a huge mistake.. And Wilson will end up paying dearly for it.

How is Wilson going to pay dearly for it?

Wasn't Harrison voted the NFL's dirtiest player by the players? I think so. Now he's the dirtiest broadcaster, or whatever the hell he is.

How is Wilson going to pay dearly for bringing in TO? Are you just daft or have you been hiding under a rock the past 4 years? T.O. is a club house CANCER. He's a horrible teammate. T.O. will be a huge negative influence on the younger players there in Buffalo. You don't have anyone who can counter his ego. Its why Dallas jettisoned him. Because they just didn't have anyone who could step up. Buffalo doesn't have it either. And, in return, they are going to suffer for it..

As for Harrison, one of the guy's tallying those votes was Kevin Mawae, center for the Titans and formerly of the Jets. HE's committed more dirty plays than Harrison did. Mawae has always hated Harrison.

T.O. didn't really misbehave worth mentioning in Dallas. Tons of his teammates came out and said such accusations were BS. Why do you suppose they would lie? Nobody said they were true. The controversy, drama, and distraction came mainly from the media, who like to relentlessly attack T.O. and continuously badger the team and coaches about him. Like he has the magical power so send 100 grown men at each other's throats because of a sound-bite taken out of context...he's not perfect, but he isn't the caricature of a person he's made out to be. People performed character assassination on Randy Moss all the time before he went to New England too, if you remember that...only T.O. has never been in trouble with the law.

Regardless of whether you believe this or not, the Bills have absolutely nothing to lose by signing him to a one year deal. What's he going to do, tear apart a locker-room on a team that has gone 7-9 for the past three years? If the Bills fail this year, it won't be because of T.O., and the coach is going to fired anyway. The QB might be replaced anyway.

Everyone on the Bills team and staff have had nothing but good things to say about T.O.. He is mentoring our 2nd round receiver draft pick this year and has taken him under his wing. The guy can play football.

As for Harrison, one of the guy's tallying those votes was Kevin Mawae, center for the Titans and formerly of the Jets. HE's committed more dirty plays than Harrison did. Mawae has always hated Harrison.

LOL, that vote was rigged by Mawae!!!!

Classic. Was he the only one that voted?

*ROFLMAO* Ummm... I LIVE in Dallas and T.O. was a nightmare for the Cowboys and Jerry Jones. Its why they cut him... As for the garbage about the media being to blame for T.O., you have some serious issues.. T.O. is all about T.O.

T.O. hasn't been around enough for them to say bad things.. As for him "mentoring" the 2nd round pick. T.O. was "mentoring" Patrick Crayton too. And Crayton became just like T.O.. Someone who didn't know when to keep his mouth shut.

You clearly don't pay attention. Mawae was one of the plays counting the votes as he was on the NFLPA council. Seriously you must have no cable or something where you live because its well known the animosity between Mawae and Harrison.

Exhibit A of the media taking a quote out of context.

Not that espn would ever do that in an effort to create controversy, stir up debate, and drive ratings to increase ad revenue and profit.

Tell me exactly what T.O. did that was so terrible in Dallas. Was it the behind-closed-doors meeting that several member of the offense had about Romo spreading the ball around more and not focusing on Whitten too much? That was leaked by "someone," and then blamed totally on T.O., who was just part of the picture in that situation...it was contructive criticism, and he was right to speak his mind IN PRIVATE, as were the other people involved.

What else was there? Be specific.

So now feel free to blame everything Crayton does on T.O.. Jeez, what a cancer...now he's making Crayton his evil puppet.

Dude, I heard you. But your conspiracy theory is ridiculous and 100% unfounded.

Are you saying that Harrison doesn't have the reputation of a dirty player?

No, they would never do that.
