T.O. already unhappy with Bills' offense

Although he did say he wasn't a fan I think that comment was taken out of context largely. Here is the entire quote:

Q: Do you like the no-huddle approach?

TO: No, not really. But I got to deal with it. [Laughs] No, it’s all right. It just gets you a little winded. For myself, I haven’t really practiced much the last few pre-season games so I’m still trying to get myself into shape and that’s coming around. We’re doing some things in the offense that will help me get in shape a little bit faster than I need to, especially with the upcoming Monday night game. You know, that’s part of our offense and we’re looking forward to it. I’ve gotten a taste of it since the OTA’s and I know what to expect. That’s sometimes a plus for the offense especially if we can kind of wear guys down and keep them on the field and don’t allow them to make substitutions, but you know, it’s something we’re looking forward to and we’re going to try it out.

Sounds like a candid, truthful response to a question. Also sounds like he's willing to give it a shot. I think T.O. is kind of a moron too, but I also know that he gets many of the things he says taken out of context sometimes.

Hah, plus the Bills just released Langston Walker (their starting LT). Do the Pats even need to show up for this game, or will the Bills just beat themselves for us?

Hes just trying to throw us off

Focus on him, not on his team...even he isn't stupid enough to fool around this early in the year. Besides, he doesn't usually act this way until the 2nd or 3rd year with a team.

It's a one year deal so this must be the condensed TO.

I wouldn't take the Bills too lightly. I know the Patriots won't. Remember 2003 and 31-0. Any given Sunday.

He must be sitting back watching the practices and games thinking..."What have I gotten myself into THIS time.......arrrrrggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"

He's not a fan of anything unless he's in the endzone with the ball. Just plain selfish player.

Exactly.

This is taken entirely out of context. It's amazing what a huge target T.O. has on his back and what some "reporters" will do to twist what he says way out of context. It's really unbelievable. The media has created a caricature of a person and just rolls with it to sell papers, if you will.

"T.O. Unhappy with the Bills Offense" is a joke of a headline.

...not that he doesn't do things wrong from time to time, but it's blown so out of proportion that it's like watching a cartoon listening to these stories sometimes.

His first year with a team, he's just generally insane.

Nothing good, nothing bad, just...nuts. But almost in a loveable way.

It's year two when loveable becomes detestable.

And why the hell is he out of breath? I thought he was a gymrat or something.

T.O. is more honest publicly than he should be. The Buffalo offense is going to suck. T.O. is preparing everyone. I'm sure that he'd rather be playing for another NY team where he could really make a difference.

A leopard doesn't changes it's spots, does it? Sheesh!

He must be sitting back watching the practices and games thinking..."What have I gotten myself into THIS time.......arrrrrggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"

And then he pulls the mail out of the mailbox, opens his check and says, "but, I think I like it."

Easy there...even though the Bills have made some some eyebrow raising moves in the last two weeks, I think that our Pats will give our conference foes the same respect and preparation as they would to any other team.

Most teams shouldn't be taken lightly. A team that fired its OC and LT within the last week? You can probably get away with it. I'm sure Bill will prepare for them just like anyone else, but if they come out and play a bad game (yes, even the Patriots have bad games) they'll still be fine. It's a good thing, too, because the Bills just neutralized our biggest question mark (RDE) by letting him line up against an equally green LT.

IMO, this is best-case scenario for the Pats. We still have lingering questions about our ability to create and defend a pass rush. The Bills' pass rush is coming from a vet who was injured all last season and a rookie, and they have the least experienced OL in the league. We caught a break playing these guys in week 1, because this will be by far their low point, and they'll be getting better every week from here on out.

Anyways, back to the point at hand, don't most WRs dislike the no-huddle? It gives them less time to catch their breath between snaps, so they (and the CBs) wind up getting worn out faster than the rest of the guys on the field.
