Dear Mr.Seymour, I thought I would make this thread to say to you; "Leave you are no longer wanted here." Until you report to the Raiders you are a distraction for this franchise. The autumn is a Raider Richard so act like the wind and blow. Why be pissed this is a business. You were planning on leaving in free agency anyways right? So I ask all Patriot fans to join me (no matter how you feel about Seymour) in asking him to leave. No hard feelings Richard, you had already made it easy for people not to care about you. Now Patsfans tell Mr. Seymour(you know he is reading this, this is one of the biggest and best forums on the net) how you feel.

In the best interest of the team:

Mods, please this rubbish to the Practice Squad.

Ian may have to up the ante to 1000 posts to start threads...

This is a very legit thread, Seymour is hurting the team. Please keep the hate out.

Really? So after all he has done for the franchie, this is what he deserves? He's a Raider now and whatever issues he has with them he has to clear up. Sey is not being a distraction to the Patriots organization.

You do not know what you are talking about.. are these comments based on something Borges wrote, or Felger regurgitated??? Or just your view of how you think this organization works??

In what ways? What evidence do you have of that?

Hey GF Seymours already Oaklands property it doesn't affect the pats if he doesn't show.

The hate is getting a little old I think you should be banned for these comments. I will no longer be responding to any hate posts. Lets have some civility here.

Right after you post something intelligent.. just what we need on this board, another poster who makes the post all about them, and not the Pats.. some folks have an insatiable need for attention.

I do beleive he is hurting the team in this sence. RS had a 2009 cap #of almost 4 million dollars. Until this deal is finalized (and its my understanding that it is not until he reports to the raiders), the pats dont have the money to sign more players. I am expecting once RS reports and this deal is finalized, the pats will sign at least one free agent. The first that comes to mind is AJ feeley.

Borges is the player first; franchise last writer, which is the exact opposite of my point. You speak as if you do not know who Borges is just that hes bad.

Will there be any outrage when that me first diva costs us a 1st round pick!

Very good point, very well said.

He is not a diva.. not sure where you get all the hysteria and hyperbole from.. a player cannot rescind the trade after the NFL signs off on it.. a legal battle can ensue, essentially he has been traded.. end of story.. Richard essentially has no rignts as he is under contract, that has been approved by the NFLPA and NFL.

If by some fluke he comes back, which I doubt, expect a high level of play for an all star in his contract year...

Seymour is not hurting the team, he is no longer on the team. The players are focusing on the Bills. No matter what happens with Seymour, he will not be on the field Monday night. We as fans have to bank on the fact that this team has almost always been able to avoid distractions and focus on the task at hand. The one thing that concerns me is that a lot of the defensive leaders are gone. I believe that Mayo, Wifork, Warren etc. will be able to keep everyone's mind where it needs to be, on the Bills and not thinking about players who are gone.
