Per Jason La-whatshisname from NFL Network.

What are they thinking? They are already starting two rookies and won't have one player at the same position. Now they are throwing in a new LT a week before the season?

Not surprising, per Shefter on twitter

Adam_Schefter: Bills agree RT @cmjoyce113 watch 1st 10 snaps of lions bills game on 9/3... walker was beat on EVERY play. He was not ready

Good times. Only drawback - after the Bills are unable to move the ball because of their ineptitude, everyone will herald the return of the dominating D.

If the Patriots cannot put pressure on the passer with Buffalo's

makeshift offensive line, they're going to have a long season on defense.

anyone think theres a possibility we pick this guy up knowing were short one tackle

You are all too confident.

I am very worried about the Bills on Monday night.

I have a bunch due the 15th.
:)

Seriously, anything less than a couple of sacks would be disappointing.

Unless we play 1-10 defense... Though I'd still like Big Vince's chances for at least one...

You may get to see a few sacks. The release of Walker just further illustrates the point that One Bills Drive simply doesn't get it. 'Til they develop the cohesion from top to bottom (ownership to management to coaching to players), the downward spiral will continue.

These are frustrating times for Bills fans. Hoping for the best is all I've got, and it's getting old. Don't worry; I've got a stockpile of wait 'til next years saved up. It would just be nice to bring 'em out a bit later than Week 1.

But TO is on the Bills! That means they'll be awesome!!!

Fear!

Why do people think the Patriots are short a tackle? They have gone numerous games with only 3 tackles previously.. Not to mention they picked up a kind by the name of Patrick Brown to the practice squad. Kid was All Conference USA starting LT.

Also, with the likes of Mark Tauscher and Levi Jones available (how have the Bills not signed either of them), the Pats could get better help than Walker.

The Bills current situation reminds me a lot of the Sullivan ownership of the Patriots. Every now and then they would hire the right guy to run the team and have some success. They would manage to come across some good players at times, but too often they let them go elsewhere when they shouldn't. However, the Sullivans always managed to screw it up because they didn't understand how a professional team was run. They couldn't sustain any success.

Billy Sullivan was a good guy and I'll always be thankful for his role in bringing the Patriots into being, but he wasn't a great owner. Like Ralph Wilson, he couldn't relinquish control to the right people, and when he did he eventually drove them off. Maybe when Ralph Wilson passes (and I'm not wishing that on him, I got nothing against him), the Bills will get their Bob Kraft.

The Bills haven't signed either 'cause they firmly believe they have their answer @ LT on their roster. They also believe in Santa Claus.

And you guy's make fun of the Jets.

Bills are Oakland East, both the Bills and Raiders need new ownership badly.

W/ Buffalo being an economic minefield that's run by a local government nearly as inept as the Bills' execs, optimism that the team will stay in WNY beyond Ralph's passing is @ an all time low. Personally, I don't know what their fate will be when that happens. I just know that it is going to be very tough to convince the league to deal w/ Erie County's ineptitude along w/ their poverty.

As I said, hope is all we got...

I don't usually go by the name "you guy's", but anything's possible.

That's horribly cruel to Oakland. They've @ least won championships. The Bills, in 49 seasons, have hit the 10 or more win mark a whopping 13 times. Before their owner got speedy WR-crazy, the Raidahs were the winningest team in football.

Granted, Mass has a better corporate base, but the MA state government is hardly team-friendly. In the end, they were ready to let Bob Kraft move the team to Hartford, before Bob caved and basically built a new stadium on his own (he did get about $70M in infrastructure support, but he has to repay that over 20 years or so).

I don't see the Bills moving. I could see them becoming a more regional model (with Toronto), like Green Bay/Milwaukee. However, I don't see them moving. There are too many fans in Western NY that love the team. A new owner could find some creative ways to generate new revenue (like Green Bay has), improve the team and work towards a new stadium (although it could end up in Toronto for part of the year). I think there are other teams that will move first, due to lack of support (Jacksonville, San Diego).

I got no real response to this that might cheer you up. I guess you will have to continue being depressed.

The Bills do have some good players on their team. Unfortunately, not enough of them play the positions that matter (OL, DL, QB).

Depressed? Nah. It's all part and parcel of being a fan of this team. I watched 'em win 8 games in my last 3 years of high school (8 games total), so I've been down this route before. It ain't fun, but ah well.

...or owner, GM, or head coach. Change has to begin there. 'Til it does, this team will be in "same as it ever was" mode.
