as some might say 49 just dont look tight. 55 is ideal but thats saved for Seau. Maybe 50 i guess.
 
He could also wear a 90's number. I'm pretty sure there are a good amount available.

I totally agree...don't understand the hate here for Seymour. He's been as good a D-lineman as I've ever seen watching the Pats for 30+ years. That the Pats felt like now was the time to move him to get maximum value for the franchise doesn't diminish one bit what he's meant to this team. I wish him nothing but the very best.
 
This is the one issue that's kept me up all night.
 
He should because he looks like a jag wearing #49. I'm sure he'll change it any day now because the final cuts have been in.

I think he must change into the 50s or 90s, since there are numbers in those ranges available.
