Re: PS: 7 signed, 1 spot open

Lotsa DL.

Makes sense.

Still, I bet the mix will change as the season progresses.

Re: PS: 7 signed, 1 spot open

Okay where's the betting money on LB or RB for #8.

Re: PS: 7 signed, 1 spot open

I thought they might sign a LB for the PS. Maybe they will if one fits the bill.

Gotta be a punter. :D (Actually, I think that Tyson DeVree would look nice back in the Flying Elvis.)

I'm thinking the same. Only one TE signed past this season.

Re: PS: 7 signed, 1 spot open

Tyson DeVree would be nice...he didn't sign with the Bills...Stupar did that

More from Reiss:
A "quick-hit" on each player:

Brown (6-5, 312) was originally signed by the Carolina Panthers as a rookie free agent out of Central Florida on April 30, 2009. He was waived by the Panthers in their final cuts.

Grady (6-1, 290) was originally signed by the Indianapolis Colts as a rookie free agent out of Louisville on April 30, 2009. He was waived by the Colts in their final cuts.

New England Patriots (realpatriots) on Twitter

DL Titus Adams, WR Terrence Nunn and DL Darryl Richard to PS in addition to newcomers T Patrick Brown, DL Adrian Grady, QB Isaiah Stanback, CB DeAngelo Willingham. 1 more spot open.

Good stuff BPF. That DT Adrian Grady had a very good preseason, and supposedly The Colts were hoping to sign him to THEIR practice squad.

Re: PS: 7 signed, 1 spot open

Hmmm a spot open you say?.......anyone want some Peppers?

re: Another to The PSquad,7 signed, 1 spot open (merged)

"Titus".... heh heh heh!

I think I just found my dark horse candidate to root for.

I'm sorta surprised that he went with ours. We have enough depth at DT that he's unlikely to get brought up- might as well go w/ a team that has very little proven talent at DT.

The Colts can still steal him off the practice roster to their 53

man roster. I believe they would have to keep him on the 53

man roster for 3 games.

Re: PS: 7 signed, 1 spot open

Reiss just reported by twitter that the Pats released Lewis so maybe Nunn will go back up or they have another plan.

Am I incorrect in ass-uming, then, that a team must subject a player to the waiver process each & every time it wants to sign him to its PS?
