I like logging these things, and since we're having a baby sometime in the next 24 hours, I thought I'd get it up ASAP.

Also, note I am making amends for my Faulk-cutting ways. haha

Without consulting capology, I took Nunn over Galloway and made a guess that Morris is too injured coupled with BJGE adding to STs. Alaso assuming Slater to IR.

Also like Ninkovich over Lenon.

OFFENSE (25)
QB Brady, Feely, Hoyer (Walter should have checked his attitude)
RB Taylor, Maroney, Faulk, BJGE
WR Moss, Welker, Nunn, Edelman, Lewis, Aiken
TE Baker, Thomas, Watson
OL Light, Kaczur, O'Callaghan, Connolly, Mankins, Koppen, Neal, Orhnberger, Vollmer

DEFENSE (25)
DL Seymour, Wilfork, Warren, Green, Brace, Wright, Pryor
DE/OLB Burgess, Banta-Cain,
OLB Thomas, Woods, Crable
ILB Mayo, Guyton, Ninkovich, Eric Alexander
CB Bodden, Wilhite, Springs, Butler, Wheatley
S Meriweather, Sanders, McGowan, Chung

Get rid of Crable and Feeley, add Morris and Walter.

IIRC, many people here ripped Cassel when he said that he'd rather play and lose than sit on the bench and win.

Maybe, but that coupled with almost no playing time and not much production, I think they'll upgrade if they get a chance.

I haven't seen last nite's game yet - but did Ninkovich play ILB or something? Thats the second time I've seen him referenced as ILB on here. Ninkovich seems strictly a DE/OLB hybrid guy, with no chance to play ILB, let alone a 3-down OLB at this point in time. He'd be a good player to stash on the PS for a year.

He played OLB.
I pretty much agree with his cuts though. We need Nunn. He has potential.

Yeah, my bad. DE/OLB

1st - CONGRATULATIONS on the Baby.. Is it a boy or a girl???? Do you have a name yet?? If so, what??

What's wrong with Walter's attitude?
Why do you have Ninkovich as an ILB?

I think that is some wishful thinking on your part regarding the Pats keeping Nunn over Galloway.

I could see the Pats parting ways with Morris as part of an injury settlement and then keeping him on Speed Dial in case of a season ending injury to one of the top 4.

Oh wow. Didn't notice he cut Galloway. It's Lewis that gets cut. Not because he isn't a good player but because others just did better and should have more potential.

Thanks guys, we're super excited. We haven't asked for the gender. My wife's philosophy is she wants a surprise at the end of all that work.

I offered to find out and not tell her. Didn't fly, haha.

I mis-listed Ninkovich, and then glancing back it seemed like I had all the spots filled. Now I need to re-think. Liked the look of Ninkovich. I wonder if he can replace Crable...

I am of two minds about Walter and his limited playing time.

1) Walter came in and impressed so much during practice, that the Patriots didn't feel the need to put him in more than they did.

2) Walter came in, showed very little grasp of the offense, showed that the Raiders were right, but BB needs to keep up appearances so he can get Feeley or another QB for next to nothing.

Either case is certainly plausible, with variations.. It will be interesting to see what happens over the next few days.

So, Ninkovitch and Alexander are our backup ILB's? NOT!
I think Crable is more likely to go than Morris and Galloway.
BJGE and Nunn are this year's 4th quarter and 4th game binkies.

Walter was supposed to play according to BB but once the Giants started spanking us with their starters, they decided to give Hoyer a chance for a comeback (which is a necessary QB evaluation).
I really appreciate what the Giants did for us yesterday.

From the original list I'm guessing it will be two of Crable, Alexander and Ninkovich at OLB; my guess is Ninkovich is cut and resigned to the PS.

That leaves only two ILB so Lenon makes the team by default over Ciurciu.

Would like to find a way to keep Nunn, but I don't see him making the roster over either Galloway or Lewis. I'm guessing he too is cut with hopes that he makes it to the PS.

It does seem that BJGE has played his way on to the team so that leaves Morris as the odd man out.

Here is one Nut's try and remember, I cut Matt Cassel last year.

There may be a player who is cut by another team that willbe added and another cut willtake place

PatsNutMe, you okay with Ohrnberger as the team's backup center rather than either Connolly or Wendell? I'm guessing one of those two make the roster rather than Britt.

Yes, and I've liked what I've seen of Britt on the inside. I didn't like him at OT. If Berger can shot gun snap, then he is the backup. If not, then I'd look at the waiver wire.

Nice job. Your sticking your neck out on a couple of longshots (Nunn and Ninkovich ) but I like both players as well. I like the BJGE over Morris too.
This is one of the best 53 man projections I have seen.
