We don't get French benefits?

Anyway I agree that he will be wrong, the Bears will not make it to the big game.

I agree, they probably won't make it to the playoffs.

I don't have much faith in SI after they picked the Dolphins to go to the SuperBowl 2 seasons ago.

Well that was Dr. Z. Peter King is more accurate than Dr. Z. Not much more, but more.

Personally, I agree that I don't think the Bears will even make the playoffs. I am not sold that Cutler will be all that good with their WRs and when defenses start to scheme to get in his head. If the Packers can adapt to the 3-4 quickly, I think they may win the division.

Well he lives in Boston now and isnt exactly going out on a limb with the NE selection.

I do think the NFC is pretty wide open so hey why not chicago, they made it with rex a few years ago and now they have a better QB and a better RB than they did then (although the D might be on the decline).

he picked the Texans and Colts to finish with the same record...and Texans winning the division? I dont buy that

The Kiss of Death. I guess I better start looking forward to 2010.

Is that like Fringe Benefits, with a lovely Bearnaise sauce? :)

I dunno, I hope King is right. I just get the feeling that the 2009 Pats are gonna be like the 2002 Pats---all offense, and very porous defense. Hope I'm wrong.

he also thinks detriot will win more games than cleveland.

someone else already said it, but i'll just put it that I hope that King isn't going to take over the "Kiss of Death" prediction role for SI with Dr. Z on the sidelines...

i think we have a good team to be in contention but everyone picking the pats to win it all like 2004 isnt too comforting..its not the same team on defense and experience.

The Bears?! Is he out of his mind?! Wait... I forgot how ******ed he is, never mind.

ah for the good old days of 2001 when people were wondering if they could do better than 5--11...

well not really but there are other teams which have equally good if not better teams.
its funny we riduculed everyone picking the colts because of their offense and ignoring their defense and now everyone is picking the pats just because of the 2007 offense really and nothing else.

This is not the first time King has predicted big things for the Pats in recent years. We'll see soon enough (well, actually, it can't come soon enough - seems like we've been waiting for years to get this season going).
