Nice little (and short) article on my man Guyton. I think he may turn out to be one of the next great UDFA makes good stories.

Job Security a Welcome Change for Patriots' Guyton - New England Patriots - NESN.com

EXCERPT:

"I have definitely learned a lot from last year to now,” Guyton said. “I look back now at the knowledge I have acquired over the time. I’ve learned a lot about football since then.”

Before anyone, Guyton credits Bruschi for his ability to come such a long way over a short period of time. With Bruschi out of the picture, Guyton will likely earn the majority of reps alongside middle linebacker Jerod Mayo in 3-4 defenses, and he’ll play in sub packages in the 4-3.

“Well, anything is possible,” Guyton said. “I just came in here with the mentality to work hard and be the best I can. Everything else will work itself out."

I like Guyton and I like short articles (they make my brain hurt less). Spam like the above one (which will likely soon be removed) also makes me laugh a little bit.

Good for Guyton though, like the article said UFDAs have a huge road to travel to make a team. I liked the bits and pieces I saw of him last year, and hopefully he gets better and better.

Now that this article is out, Guyton will be cut tomorrow.

I'm not clear on why you're calling the write-up spam, exactly...

Someone had made a spam post, which was removed as predicted.
