must be the torn rotator cuff and broken collarbone limiting him to soft tosses...

He's probably faking, Ellis Hobbs says so.
I get the feeling that Edelman is headed to IR.

Re: WEEI.com: Brady throwing at Tuesday practice

Brady throwing at all angles and speed and running normal 11 on 11 drills per ESPN Radio and espn.com. This looks like fantastic news!!

Notice how nobody is talking about his knee?

this is great.

Edelman to IR?? Did I miss something, what makes you feel that way??

He's joking.

Did he get an injury somewhere? I must've missed it.

Glad Brady is throwing.

Now, get Welker back in the fold and things will be looking better.

Recall the warning labels that came with Springs? Hope this isn't prophecy fulfilled.....

And what in the the hell is wrong with Maroney, Watson and Thomas?

Final note: With Edelman not practicing are his chances lessened to make the team, or is he a lock and has no worry?

Just a feeling.

I have the same feeling that BB will try to stash him on IR. Which sucks, because I fell like players need to play to improve. Has the "let's stash him on IR" for a year trick ever worked? Seems like every time it's tried, the player comes back sucking (e.g. Crable).

He got hit hard on a punt return in the Bengals game, hasn't been seen since.

If Edelman was hurt badly enough to warrant IR he'd be there now, no reason to wait around anymore. Truly, you paranoids should drink more - as long as they are out to get you, you may as well be numb when they come. ;)

Do you believe that anyone will be put on the IR list in the next few days?

Sure, but I don't see a need to keep any of the current not-practicing list on the roster just to IR them at Final cutdown.

From Chris's report:

Julian Edelman
Terrence Wheatley
Shawn Springs
Laurence Maroney
Dan Connolly
Wes Welker
Dave Thomas
Chris Baker
Myron Pryor
Shawn Crable

Every one of these guys are on the rosters you and I have thrown together. It makes more sense they are just getting healed up so they can be ready to practice next week as the team installs the game plan for Buffalo, having them practice this week adds limited value compared to the installation work.

I do not subscribe to the view that IR is a red shirt season if the guys can't practice with the team.

Tom Brady- probable (shoulder)

Ah. It wouldn't be a regular season game without it. :D

i thought they were going to get AJ Feeley because Brady is out for this year....at least that is what a steelers fan told me

You bilingual folks always amaze me. :confused2:

Perhaps time was needed to assess the seriousness of the injuries and the likehood of return. We've known about McKenzie and Tate for months. To put it another way, why would belichick make his IR decisions and announcements before he has to.

Yes, both of us have listed non-practicing players on our rosters. We have because we have no way of knowing who will be put on IR.

Also, the fact that a player is practicing doesn't preclude him from the IR list. The PUP list is precluded, but not the IR list. Someone may be practicing but may be not be even nearly recovered.

That being said, I would not be surprise to see a player or two being put on IR. My list of potential suspects includes Crable, Edelman, Ohrnberger and Pryor.
