It's easy, and only takes a few moments. He looks like 300 lb Dan Koppen physically, which indicates his time on the Practice Squad wasn't wasted fasting or avoiding the weight room. He looked like the number one C/G option and played pretty well against some first team competition in the preseason games.

I still haven't gotten to the Redskins game I recorded off NFLN, but in Philly Wendell rotated in as first alternate at Center and Connelly was first alternate at RG, they swapped places on the next series, if I have my timeline correct, the progression is what is was. Against Cincy Connelly was first alternate at Center and Wendell at RG before swapping. Both have also taken LG reps. As PS23 says, Wendell looks to be ahead by a nose - especially since in Camp he was reported to be with the 1's at RG everytime Neal took a Senior moment. In Philly he was at RG when they brought Britt in at RT, the two of them executed one of the prettiest combo blocks it's been my pleasure to watch, Connelly and to a lesser extent Orhnberger did their jobs, and BJeepers followed Wendell through a four lane freeway-sized hole as Wendell sealed a LB and NE got away from the goal line.Has he been coming in early at guard? I thought Connolly was the first sub at center in each game so far.
Connolly's shotgun snaps have been spot on this preseason, a marked improvement from last year at this time.I had read somewhere that he had bulked up. Connelly had trouble
last year with shotgun snaps.
