That's it, right? That kinda makes me sad.

Not many coaches or FO guys left either.

I was a fan long before 2001, but that year resonates with me for obvious reasons.

Man, that's just depressing.

Of the ones listed, Seymour's the only one left on defense.

8 years in the NFL is a loooong time

Im starting to feel old. :(

How can that be 8 years ago but I'm still the same age? Something isn't adding up.

That's nothing, PJ.

When it comes to most girls, I'm actually younger now than I was in '01;)

(but just mostly on friday and saturday nights)

And by my rough count there's 11 left from last championship team (2004). 12 if you count Watson who was on IR.

That's why free agency sucks. Makes you wish for the old days when the only way players moved was via trade. But other than Vinatieri, who else from that team is still playing elsewhere? Was Woody with us then?

Yeah, Woody was drafted in 1999. He was on the '01 and '03 SB teams then went for the $ with Lions

I like you, Supa.

YES! He was one of the only good players on the team that year! :D

But you're right, things change fast nowadays in the NATIONAL football league.

Branch wasn't drafted until 2002.
Klecko, Asante, and WIlson weren't drafted until 2003.

Yes, those are the only five remaining guys.

What may surprise you even more is that there are only 9 players left from the 2003 team. Just add Koppen, Warren, Banta-Cain, and Green to that list.

And if you look at 2004, there are only 13 players left. Add Alexander, Wilfork, Watson, and Yates to that list.

Bruschi, Vrabel and Harrison all in the same offseason... definitely a funny feeling to it.

Bruschi was definitely the only player on the roster to play in all 4 BB superbowls as well as Superbowl XXXI right?

I am actually younger than I was in 2001. But a freak of nature.... Or is that just a freak. I'll have to check one the restraining orders against me. I always forget which one it is.

I should read past PatJew's posts before I comment. You already beat me to the younger line with a better joke.

Man, that's just depressing.

What would be more depressing is if we kept a bunch of those 2001 guys around past their prime and did not evolve. That my friends would be depressing.
