Funny exchange pregame between Ochocinco and BB.

BB went running over to him with a big smile and a big hug. Chad said he was looking for him earlier. These two guys seem to really like eachother.

We need to get them together.

After the hi and hug... BB: just to let you know we are gonna double cover you so you can have the night off.

Chad: oh come on.

BB : 1 double 85 thats our call tonight. 1 double 85

Chad: no matter where I go

BB: yeah so you can't hide

Chad: come on coach you serious or you just playing with me tell me your just playin wit me

BB: I'm not gonna watch you run in the endzone and spike the ball here.

shook hands and walked away

BB: have a good one

Chad: all right.....and then to a camera says Damn.

As off-the-wall Chad is, I think Belichick appreciates Chad's drive to play the game.

Cincy's going nowhere in their division, not with Pitt and Baltimore in front of them.

Chad probably wants a chance to win a ring before he gets too old.

Belichick would make him behave.

How's this: OchoCinco for Lewis, Galloway, Watson, and KOC. :)

If the Pats ever had Randy Moss, Wes Welker, and Chad OchoCinco on the WR corps, just mail 'em the Lombardi and skip the season...

Sounds like some man love ... if they do a jumping chest bump we'll know it's serious.

I watched that last night and was going to write about it

It was a pretty funny exchange, and it was interesting to see because Belichick went out of his way to go say something to him. Needless to say if Johnson ever goes to free agency I can definitely see him as a possibility down the road here.

Chad's a cool dude but IMO is a bit overated as a receiver.

Whens Chad a FA? He'd look good in a Pats uni...

Seriously? You think he's overrated?

I dunno if i'd go that far. A little too bragadocious... probably. But the man can play ball.

I don't think it's a matter of "if" but "when" with him...once his contract is up he's out of Cincy.

I'm the other way, I think he's actually under-rated. A lot of people look at the Bengals (relative) success and simply point to Palmer (which is fair enough, I think he's a wonderful QB), but Ocho is very very consistent, is a great route-runner, and is tough as nails. Look at his numbers - he's a consistent 1200/1300 yard receiver. You don't do that unless you're a very good player, elite QB throwing to you or not.

Sure he can play but I live in the area where I see the freaking Steelers all the time, two times a year with them playing the Bengals and just about NEVER do I see Chad make a big difference in any of those games

A guy like Randy Moss is a game changer,I dont think Chad is really that type of receiver,He is dependable but as a premiere game changer like Moss,Fitzgerald or Andre Johnson? - No

Put Chad on a better team and I might say differently.

Agree 100% . hes more like a Anaquin Boldin. Very, very good player- but not in the class of receiver you mention.

I always thought that Houshmenzada was a better receiver in terms af all around play and Chad worked well with him as a dynamic 2 receiver corps, neither to me is ranked in the top 5 but both are much better than average for sure.

I think Chad will have a little trouble with his buddy off to Seattle this year and even more focus on #89 in opponents game plans because the respect for TJ that other teams had to deal with coming on how to defend the bengals offense are no longer an issue

2010 with an option for 2011.

Didnt know the last year was an option. Well, if the $$ is right Pats might make a play 4 him. certainly seem there is a mutual admiration thing goingon b/t/w those 2 kids.

The funnier part was when the ref gave 85 a "child please" when he tried to argue a call.

I think you're too harsh on Chad. If you put Moss on the Bengals in place of Chad, i bet Moss won't be able to have as much impact as you think. Look at Moss at Oakland.

Damn I didnt know he was already in his thirties.

It might get interesting to see what the Bengals do next offseason with him with the CBA and all adn his contract situation. Do they trade him and try and get something for him (see Dillon to Pats for a 2nd rounder but not saying Ocho is worth that)? They are not going to franchise a 33 year old WR thats for sure..
