Just scanning the news and I see Div. opponents (and perpetual threats to invade my fine country with crappy football) Buffalo Bills are having a lot of issue.

Fred Jackson escorted off the field with what seems to be a nasty thumb injury, T.O. being held out of Saturday's game with nagging toe injury, and Schobel is out for an undetermined time (reports vary) with an elbow injury gotten in last weeks pre-season game.

Could we be facing this team in week one without their first 2 RB's, a second WR threat, and no pass rush at all?

After what the Patriots went through last year with injuries, I have no sympathy for any other teams when it comes to the injury bug.

:agree: We had our fair share of our injuries. Here is for having an injury free year capped with a SB :eat3:

The Bills O-Line looked like swiss cheese in the hall of fame game.

it will be interesting to see how they attempt to hold the patriots rush in week 1 without a running threat.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I CAN'T WAIT FOR OPENING NIGHT!!!!!!

Wow, so a potential 35-17 win is now a 49-0 win?

Must be lots of "Made of glass" threads on the Bills forums.

Sad, because the Williams are the only Div rival I don't hate.

Agreed. Pitied, more often than not, but certainly not hated.

If Schobel misses the opener vs. the Pats, it will be huge. The guy usually gives Matt Light fits every time the Pats play the Bills.

I thought the Bills were going to try to get bigger on defense to avoid these injuries.

T.O. seems to get "injured" every offseason. I guarantee you that "injured toe" miraculously heals itself before Week 1 and T.O. starts. I'd actually be willing to place $5,000 on it.

Give me 1000 to one odds and you're on!

It seems that as soon as the Bills signed T.O., expectations in Buffalo went sky high.

Reading Buffalo forums it seems that expectations are anything but 'sky high' for the general fanbase.

A large part are utterly disillusioned with the lack of emotion shown by their team, the lack of impact of the newly installed no huddle gimmick offense, the porosity of the totally rebuilt Oline and...well..lots of other stuff.

The only ones who seem genuinely high about the coming season are those who have their heads buried beneath a mountain of coolaid and those who are actually looking forward to T.O going ballistic and causing some sort of FO meltdown that leads to a new dawn in Buffalo....

We should probably send serial whiners like Captain Stone over there to let him see whats its like to have a genuine beef....

The Bills have a very weak overall roster and weak coaching. I'm glad we're playing them early - it will be a nice scrimmage!

our defense has it pretty easy the first 2 weeks.

Although I don't expect much from Sanchez week #2, Thomas Jones and Leon Washington are a pretty dangerous running combo. Let's hope the Pats have fixed some of the run defense problems we have seen this preseason or it may not be as easy as people think.
