does anyone want to address what this suggests about managements evaluation of Kaz? I never really thought he was all that good - with some really really horrible games mixed in with avg/below avg play time. I still feel like if O'callaghan didn't get hurt, there was a chance he could have taken that spot at RT.
People have been talking for years about moving Light to RT and getting a young stud in at LT to protect the franchise's blind side. Guess that is not in the works.

He was scheduled to make $2.27 this year, so perhaps this extension will lower that number. That could possibly help with the Vince talks.
This could just be the first domino to fall in a line of extensions for the would-be FA class of next year.
