Kinda reminds me of Pete Seeger and all the other folksies doing "Tzena"...
Couldn't find The Weavers, Pete's group that popularized it for the folk movement. found one of Arlo but he got way too "Alice's Restaurant" telling stories in the middle of the song... here's The Wellingtons.

Hmmm. Went to find more and got bumped off track by just how much rabid antisemitism there is on the interwebs...
I'm HUGE into bluegrass. I play standup bass and mando at festival jams. I really get into the fusion stuff and the bluegrass cover bands like "Hayseed / Deseed" (AC/DC songs bluegrass style), "Leftover Salmon" and "Banjovi". I'm really a purist, though, and get into Bill Monroe, and traditional stuff..
Guess nobody around here is into Bluegrass. Or old Jewish customs.
Oh, well .......

This was one of the worst "bluegrass" performances I've ever heard.

Yeah. I just like bluegrass the way it was meant to be played...lotta soul, rhythm, and no chiors or drums. Drums are RIGHT OUT! 50 miles westa. Bostonians think we're in Indian Territory, living in log cabins. Very different lifestyle out here from Boston.Snob. You must be from the Boston area.

We prefer sick blankets and whiskey. So you must be stocked up on good local products, like Kahr pistols and maybe a Thompson throw-back or two, eh? .... to deal with the "Indian problem" and all that ...
