Well it better not be Bru! I have a 7 year old girl who will cry for weeks if that happens so I fully expect the team to save me that misery. I don't care if they need to prop up a cardboard cutout on the sideline to fake her out, he best be visible for a few more years.
I know I am in the minority, but I think Alexander has good versatility and showed effectiveness in several roles. This contrasts with, say, Smith and Galloway, who have struggled to contribute.
I think that one of the TEs will be traded rather than cut. There are multiple teams who have had injuries at the position, and would be willing to part with 3-6th for a legit TE. Teams that can't wait until we cut them and risk having them gone via the waiver wire.

Sanders just signed a 3 year deal at starter's money, sorry.
I'm starting to agree about Maroney. He looked like the same old Maroney Thursday night. I see no evidence that he can cut it as an every down back, he lacks the blitz pickup to eventually replace Faulk as a 3rd down back and he lacks the power and durability to be a short yardage guy. Can't we just accept that Maroney sucks and move on?

Any TE other than Smith might have trade value at this point. You would have to have a desperate team who has not seen any film on Smith, to date, to trade for him.

Were you actually watching the game? He got what, 3 carries? And blocking was blown on each play. If those plays are BJGE, or Morris, they're both tackled in the backfield instead of getting back to the LOS.
as to the reception, with Morris or BJGE, thats a 5 yard pick up. With him or Faulk, its 15.
Despite you hating him, hes the best back on the roster.

Again, do you even watch the games? You'd actually learn a ton reading some of the play by play stuff by BOR, with blocking assignments and such.,
There are probably 25 running backs available for league minimum right now who are better than BJGE in every facet of the game.
And frankly, Maroney is actually pretty good, as all the stats back up. He loses yardage significantly less than most RBs in the NFL, gains yardage more often, and has a great DVOA.
