Some of y'all might have seen this one...it's an awesome logo animation...

It is a version of Patriot Pat, but he looks like he's on steroids! It's something off an Iron Maiden album cover!

He has rippling muscles coming out of a torn shirt and this menacing grin like he's about to beat the crap out of somebody. I think there is like a war seen and flags waving behind him, also...

I saw it on a blanket at a game tailgate once and was looking for it on the internet, but suprisingly, I could not find it...

I thought someone in this group might have it or know where I can find it...

Any help is appreciated...

I believe that, if you keep refreshing the main forum page, the picture will come up at the top with the rest of the user pics. I've seen it a few times up there.

EDIT: It took me around 20 refreshers of the main board but I think I found it:

That's a good one. Thanks! But the one I am looking for, he is actually in a 3-point stanc e like the real Patriots Pat, but he is just bigger and meaner and badder!

I think I know what you're talking about, Armen. It's the original cartoon that appeared in the Globe and never made it onto the helmets quite the same way.

It's actually the ORIGINAL cartoon created by Phil Bissell (whom my dad knew, and who actually made my birth announcement back in 1965!!! - I've never met Mr. Bissell, but hope he knows how much of a family heirloom his wonderful birth announcement has become and how much it is appreciated). The original only made it in the Globe. The Patriots then had Bissell soften Pat up a little for the helmets starting in their second year (first year was the tri-cornered hat logo).

Check between the :47-:54 mark of the interview!

What a sweet pic!!!!

Changing my wallpaper to it!

Nothing beats the flaming death head skull Patriots logo someone posted here in 2007. That should be the official logo. Sales would skyrocket. Embrace the hate.

Judging from description, I think "Thewaylifeshouldbe" has the version Armen was looking for.

That's really cool!!!!!!Thanks for sharing. Gotta figure out how to use it.....

I'm already considering a tattoo of that either on my right arm or right shoulder blade.

Whereas I was just thinking, "wow, all of these really make me appreciate the Flying Elvis." :)

Good luck with that....looks like a pretty difficult one to do.....but I'm not an artist.....

I always considered the Flying Elvis, Elvis morphs into the Alien....:p

I know an artist who is good enough to pull that off. Either way though, I would cut out the stadium background, the grass, and the current helmet and just put Pat Patriot in with the flag in the background. It may have to be big though which is why I'm even considering it on my right shoulder blade (I don't have 27 inch pythons like Hulk Hogan).

Even if you forego the flag to, just Pat the Patriot would look great.....it's so different than most of us are familiar with, but at the same time, it is how many of us view the team. Tough, worklike, team oriented......
