Lucky you. They told me that due to my apartment location/orientation, they will not be able to install it. Had to settle for cable

Ok, since I just moved a couple of months ago, I broke down myself last week and became a return DirecTV customer. I even splurged for the Superfan portion of the Sunday Ticket (the base package was included in the package I ordered). I do already realize what I missed with DirecTV. They still have better picture quality and far more HD channels.

I KNOW! My apartment when I first moved back out to California was the same way (was in position to actually pay a deposit). I had to drive to a bar that played just the Patriots games that was 60 miles away. Still did it. I guess I am just moving on up! :singing:

We have some of those in Texas as well.. Except we have hail that pelts the dish..

I've lost signal a few times because of it, but only when it was raining so hard that it looked like a 2000 GPM fire monitor was blasting the rain down.. or when the hail was hitting the dish..
