Hey, it's just dessert!

I'm sure you have an equally sweet defense of his 'dessert' remark.

Any reasonable person knows he meant to use shudder and failed to proof read, so it is really a mute point :)

yo...lighten up...that's way too serious a response to what was clearly a joke...but to be boringly and pedantically clear, yes, of course, it is clear to any intelligent observer that the original was a typographical error, probably the result of a spell checker that let a correctly spelled but inappropriately used word go through; on the other hand, we shouldn't rule out the possibility of a less than sophisticated level of literacy...there, "reasonable" enough? cheesh! but i guess it was my just desserts. (and, yes, I know that the proper spelling of the word in that case is "deserts")

Dude..... MUTE point.........

For QBs, Phillip Rivers deserves to be on the list. He played with a torn ACL...and he played well.
Well, technically, I'd called that scrappy. In this rare case, Jamie Dukes is using tough in the combative sense. There are some guys whom you just don't want to make your enemies, and Tom Brady is one such player - the equivalent of a Stalingrad mindset on the football field.

Whoops! I didn't mean to squish a fly with a sledgehammer.

I reread my post and what seemed like a harmless and funny post the other day does sound a little harsh in retrospect.

No offense intended friend.
