Can the NFL just give him a parade, 3 hour TV special, induct him into the HOF early and retire the number 4 from ever being used again by any team so he will get the send off he feels he is entitled to and just finally retire? I understand loving the game, he officially retired twice, this is getting a little out of hand.

You know, he wouldn't be such a tool if he hadn't just said that he's planning on staying retired. I understand not wanting to give up the game vs your body not being able to take any more, but don't make it sound like the decision's been made only to reverse it, over and over.

definitely...if nothing else the entertainment value of the league goes up with favre in it...favre bashers and admirers come out in force, fill blogs and boards with impassioned comments...and, who knows, he might give the vikings five or six good games before his November swoon...
