Next Pats coach-stay away from the BB tree

Profootballtalk reporting jaime dukes says a bombshell is coming from the broncos tonight. Mcdaniels is an idiot. He had a decent foundation and slashed everything. Mangini, romeo, weiss, saban etc have failed pretty badly. The trend shows to stay away from that tree.

We are talking about Jamie Dukes here and claiming Jason La Canfora will have the scoop. I wouldn't put much stock in it and if it is a true scoop from Jason La Canfora , Daniel Snyder may have traded his entire draft next year for Brandon Marshall. If it is a trade of Marshall and Snyder is involved, McDaniels and Xavier could have made a Hershal Walker trade with Brandon Marshall. If the Broncos get a boat load of draft picks for Marshall, I will say that McDaniels may be able to buck the trend if he uses them correctly since he is building a team that fits his system.


That said we don't even know what the bombshell is or it the bombshell is nothing more than a firecracker.

Schefter scooped everyone. Marshall asked to be cut or new deal. Sitting out practice. Options are limited. Most likely will lose a lot of money in fines and return at some point.

I would pinch my nipples as hard as I could and scream like a woman if that happened. Randy Moss, Brandon Marshall, Wes Welker, Joey Galloway, and Greg Lewis in one receiving corps?! It most likely won't happen but still... it's nice to dream.

I certainly would never rule out a Marshall trade, but it's highly unlikely because he has a lot of off the field issues. However, he's a great player.

I'd pass on Marshall. Bad news. Too many problems. On thin ice with the league (in trouble with the law alot and could get a lengthy suspension the next time). Trying to shoot his way out of town now. Wants a Larry Fitzgerald contract and could spend a decent amount of the length of that contract suspended if he doesn't get his act together (his agent knows that and will probably look for a very large guarantee).

BTW, this bombshell isn't much of a bombshell since this is just a continuation of the ongoing problem.

You look at the guys with character issues the Pats bring in. Usually their character issues are overblown or they have matured from their imature past. Corey Dillon had legal problems, but they were more ancient history during a time where the Commissioner looked the other way (Tagliabue was a softy compared to Goodell). Marshall doesn't seem to get it. He wants to be paid like a top WR. Many people around him say he is bad news. Teammates loved Moss and Dillon before they got here.

If or when they trade Marshall, I'm pretty sure Denver will be the worst team in the NFL. McDaniels will be gone in two years.

The Broncos apologized to Brandon Marshall for something one of their PR staff did during the before the last preseason game!!!!!

Fire McDaniels now! How dare the Broncos apologize to Marshall while he is trying to get a new deal! What an insult! Just another example of their lack of situation awareness. How could they try to smooth relations when they are about to go into a long battle over a contract extension?

Dukes is an idiot. He's had it in for McDaniels ever since the Cutler trade. Funny thing is Cutler also happens to be an idiot, so maybe it's just one idiot looking out for a fellow idiot. On the bright side it looks like he lost several hundred pounds and has become a slightly less disgusting sweaty slob. As far as any actual insight into football, he offers very little which makes me think he would be a perfect fit for ESPN.

Even when cassel was on in interview for the NFLN last season he acted like a jackass . i remember last yr when tom went down he railed the pats for not having a backup instead putting the game in a guy's hands who hasnt started since high school. he said the pats and colts are suffering from the same mistake.(manning coming after a knee injury).
Then he went on to say the pats should sign joey harrington at which point rod woodson really jumped on him saying that all these yrs he has criticized joey harrington and now you want them to sign this guy ? it was priceless...wish i could find that video.
