I have been berated often on this board because of my utter disdain for Watson, Maroney, and Seymour. I think most of you now see I ONLY HAD THE TEAMS BEST INTEREST IN MIND. With their continued uninspired performances it has become easier to see my point. Thank you all.:)

Never heard of you.

Besides Maroney, (who's still apparently the #1 RB) having a somewhat mediocre start to the pre-season, what the hell did Seymour do to make you think his pre-season game #1 performance was so awful?

just because he didn't make any major plays doesn't really tell me that he had a bad game. when the real games start you can bet seymour will be the same force that he always is--especially in his contract year. he has barely practiced, and for all we know, could be taking it somewhat cautiously.

you are like a broken record:rolleyes:

I'm on the torch-bearing squad for the mob going after Watson and Maroney. Seymour, I find it hard to rip the guy 'cause he was such a beast and still can be... but, I do have to say, if they have to choose between paying Wilfork and paying Seymour, I hope they pay Wilfork.

I didn't watch the 2nd half, because I live out of the area and had to watch the 11:00 replay on NFLN. I take it Watson did something bad tonight? Did he drop a pass or something?

He still IMO, has a great repoire with Brady, plus he has improved on his run blocking. Couple that with a good knowledge of the playbook, and no monetary reason to cut him, and I don't see why he's not at least the #2 TE?

You're a complete idiot to think that you were right because of ONE pre-season game.

Watson wasn't dressed tonight.. So, I'm not sure how he could have done anything wrong. And, not to burst the O.P.'s idiotic view, but Morris was running with the #2 O-line and they opened some nice holes to start with, but couldn't get it done on several occasions later in the game...

Seymour was solid

I like the TE battles, we have so many, too early to assume anything.

whether or not you have been "seen" or not on this board or not is irrelevant. how could you possibly judge a player based on 1 pre-season game? i dont get it. please explain. usually i am a defender of posts which get ripped, but come on. if you judged players on 1 pre-season game julian edelman would be the 2nd coming of wes welker. theres a lot more to it than1 pre-season game.

You realise only a fool beats his own barrow right?

No, he doesn't realize this. He's a product of inbreeding.

If you haven't already, I suggest you guys do what I did the first week this moron arrived on the forum and place him on your ignore list. Only an idiot would hate Seymour (the guy that had 8 sacks last year even though he's technically not "supposed" to get sacks).

So...just to recap:

Seymour looked just fine

Watson didn't even dress tonight

Maroney had a somewhat mediocre 1st preseason game

And this thread has absolutely no point whatsoever:(

(APV--I keep trying to give you the benefit of the doubt, because I respect everyone's opinion, but not only are you beating a dead horse, you aren't really making much sense in your theory. Chances are, all 3 of your 'terrible' players will have major impacts this year)

Well I personally think that Watson is trade bait now. But the other two probably will. Whatever he says will happen usually doesn't. For that matter, APV, please tell me that I WON'T win the lottery. When I do win, I can fly up there and buy you a brand new Seymour jersey.

Yeah I gathered that from the Seymour comment.

1) That's a stretch on the basis of one pre-season game.
2) I'm out here as often as most folks and I really can't say I identify you with that point of view, though I will take your word for it.
3) I assume that only Trolls don't have "THE TEAMS (sic) BEST INTEREST" at heart. In fact, I'm inclined to think that only those who don't have the Pats' best interest at heart feel the need to say that they do have said interest at heart. So...
4) Holding Richard Seymour, an integral part of a lot of the team's success, in "utter disdain" is kind of hard to accept from someone who claims to support the Pats. Maybe you think he's lost a step, but "utter disdain?"
5) Why exactly did you start this thread?

He just wanted to help me test my new ignore software which ignores the post even when others quote it. Thanks APV! The stuff works! :D

Great function, isn't it?

Oh yeah. It's getting a lot of work in. I have a feeling that, when the season starts, it'll be working overtime.
