As Brady has aged, his skull is becoming more... I dunno, skull-like. I looked up from typing as a clip from his presser was being aired and my first thought was, "Holy sh*t, when did the Patriots sign Charlton Heston?!?"

When Brady smiles, and all the facial bone ridges stand out, he looks kind of evil, also. Maybe he's picking up some of the Dark Side from Darth Hoodie.

He looked good on the field. Glad to see they ran the QB sneak, showing the good leg is nothing but 100% a go. Great to see he is back in sync with the old players Moss & co., after the preseason he should be done with the rest.

On whether he wanted to take a hit:
TB: I was just going to hold the ball in the pocket and cuddle up with the ball. Finally on the quarterback sneak I said, 'I wish somebody would just come and blast me.' You get a little of that anxiousness out of the way. I'll have to wait until next week. The offensive line did a great job, so they are the ones that should be thanked.

On whether he is glad the first preseason game is behind him:
TB: I think it's a real small step for this whole team on a very long journey. We're on a mission this year and this is the first step and it's a small step, but it's a step in the right direction. I think, defensively, we did some great things, and offensively, scoring points is what we have to do and we did that at times. I think in the second half we didn't play as well offensively. We had some short-yard situations we could have done a better job on. Philly is a great team; a playoff team. They went to the NFC Championship last year and they are one of the best teams we have played in the past 10 years. They are very well-coached and they execute very well. It was a good first test for us."

On being excited to be back on the field:
TB: There's no place I would rather be, so that about sums it up. This is a place where I probably have the most fun and enjoy the most. A preseason game doesn't have quite the feel of a regular season game, but to still be out there on the field with my teammates and celebrating after a win, the bus ride home, the bus ride to the airport and the flight home; those are the things you probably enjoy the most.

I saw part of the post game interview where Brady says "Were on a Mission this year" That stood out above all to me.

As far as his head goes...i thought the same thing it looks bigger, maybe his hairline is recieding.

Tom F'in Brady's hairline does NOT recede! It just adjusts itself a little bit to reveal more of his alpha noggin. Seriously, don't you know ANYTHING?

They say you look ten pounds heavier on TV maybe Brady's head just LOOKED bigger.

That being said its nowhere near as big as Peyatons mellon

On a whole other issue he needs a new haircut, i had one like his one time but i didn't pay for it....it was free.

Before i start recieving death threats its a joke.

i liked the show of anger on the sideline after the int.......i like to think that show of frustration shows how determined he is to be back on the field and be great and lead the Pats to the championship they gave away to the giants........or maybe it is something that all of us that are "married with children" have from time to time

I tend to agree, but I also can't shake the feeling that maybe he's pressing a little too much at this early stage. There is a fine line between being really focused and pressing too much.

I'm not too worried, though.
