# Reid is relishing the team's first preseason game against the Patriots on Thursday night.

"We have played them every preseason since I've been here," he said. "Bill Belichick and I are good friends and we like to get after each other, even in preseason, whether it's ones vs. ones, twos vs. twos or threes vs. threes. I think I'm one up on Bill in the preseason series. Unfortunately, he's got three [Super Bowl] trophies on me."

# As for the Eagles' expecting to be the first team Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has seen since his knee injury in Week 1 last season, Reid said: "It will be good to see Tom Brady out there. He means a lot to that team and to the league. He's good for the game."

Andy Reid has always been a classy guy. His kids have let him down, that's for sure, but he's always been up front on pretty much everything.

To be honest, it's amazing that any head coach can last as long as they do, considering the stress and schedules they have as a normal part of their jobs.

And if you remember during spygate, he was one of the few not to weigh in, steering questions away with a simple "that's something that Bill and the Patriots are working through."
That may be partly out of respect for Belichick but partly because he may have skeletons of his own of that nature that he didn't want disclosed....

watching the NFL network and they had a preview on the Eagles. they looked pretty good in training camp. these guys are going to win the Super Bowl one of these days. i just hope we don't play them this year because of the revenge factor.

Reid is a classy guy, but I've always thought that he looks like a Walrus...

knowing reid's sense of humor, he'd probably say something like, "that's an insult to the walrus"...the eagles are a classy organization, from the lauries on down...i go into every season thinking, "if it can't be the Pats, then let it be the Eagles this year"

Even Brady during one of his interviews in the past when asked which other team he likes and is similar to his own..he names the eagles because of their coach and similarity in the organization.
Everyone in philly wants reid to go..but they dont know what they will miss.He has kept that team relevant for yrs now...5 NFC champ is no easy feat even without a SB.

Andy Reid is a great coach...his kids sauck...I only wish he'd escape up to NE , be our O line coach for a season and then take over for BB...we'd win for another decade..the guy has heart, knowledge and drive...you do NOT puke on the big stage when your coach is a guy like this..he'll miss Johnson for a lot of reasons but that old man coached his azz off for Andy...all you have to know
