I just watched this and couldn't help but notice the footage was old...Easy for me to tell when I was at both today and the one on 8/5 when most of this was filmed. Some of it was day one as I couldn't help but notice Bruschi on the field.

Kinda funny...NFL films was there today but shorts and tees this mourning and shells this afternoon...Guess they went with the more entertaining stock footage. Foiled by BB I guess.

Props to Mayock for noticing Brace getting work at the end as I and others who have been have noted this as well.

Yup - thought the same thing regarding the lack of Burgess talk. But, for those of us who can't make the trip to camp, it was a nice look-in. Mayock is OK... especially when he does draft talk in the spring.

That's what stood out to me as well. I hope Maroney can shake the injury bug this year. Maroney and Taylor at full health in our backfield will make for a potent 1-2 "Thunder and Lightning" combo.

Yeah, exactly. In fact, I was there that day - the defense held its own earlier in practice. The defense looks good, I think.

I agree -- plus the red shirts and the lack of real tackling tend to favor the boys in white. (Just look at the session-ending "sack.") I've liked what I've seen of the defense so far.

Thanks for posting that! Now I see why people plan vacations around training camp! Mayock's commentary was terrific. Quick hits:

Welker beating Chung. Assume that was atypical for this much heralded guy, but that was embarrassing.

Even though Coach ruled it a sack, you knew Brady was going to Moss when the laps were on the line.

Brady looked as mobile as he's ever been.

Favorite Quote (paraphrased) from BB: The players decide who makes the team, we just watch and try to stay out of the way.

I haven't seen anything but Curran and Holley were talking on FSNE as if the offense looks better than ever and pretty much unstoppable. I couldn't tell if Curran was just doing a makeup for the Brady issue over the winter but they both sounded serious.
