Not surprisingly the Giants are first. He's got the Dolphins at #9, Jets #13, Pats #14, Colts #16, Bills #25, and Steelers #30.

With future Hall of Famer Tom Brady back in the pocket, forget about it. This offense is going to be lights out again in 2009. Coach Bill Belichick is the master of game planning and scheming.

I think the Steelers and Pats are ranked too low due to some poor play by their offensive lines when key players were out with injuries last year; I'd rate them both higher than that. Atlanta (#4) and Tampa Bay (#10) may be too high in this listing.

-Dolphins O-line is overrated because Pennington makes quick decisions and can't throw farther than 20 yards.

i was really hoping his head might explode during one of our games, but we play them in week 15 (which will likely be too late, but not short of drama) and week 1, which is likely too early in the season

I'm surprised his head didn't explode in Week 6 of 2007, when Welker nearly had as many yards, catches, and TDs as he and Moss combined. . . .

If the Eagles could have defeated the Cardinals - which they should have - then I believe that they would have blitzed Worthlessbooger into oblivion, just as they did during their regular-season encounter. As long as McNabb didn't do anything stupid - like trip over his own puke & fumble a couple of times - then Philly would've been SB champs instead of the Armpitsburgh Squealers.

I'm not sure how you can rate the Bills line at all...nobody has seen it or anything close to it in a real game. They have three new guys on it, and there is not a single position that has the same player as last year. They wind up stuck at 25 because somebody was in the midst of a masturbatory act and had to put them somewhere.

How they rated the Dolphins over the Pats is beyond me. Long? If my head serves me right, both the Jets and the Patriots have three players on their line that have gone to the Pro Bowl...somebody correct me if I'm wrong. It's been a while.

I believe the Pats O-line is overated as individuals, but underated as a unit.

Brady obviously makes them look better, since he has unbelievable pocket presence. However, they receive far too much blame for one bad game at the end of the 2007 season.

Last year I thought they did exceptionally well considering they had a QB with no game experience. The running game was outstanding considering a lack of a top talent runner.

Absolutely, that ranking isnt accurate because they use sacks and Cassel was the most sacked QB in the NFL last season because he was so hesitant to unload the ball early in the season.

RothlisRaper was the 2nd most sacked QB.

Interesting. I was looking for a link to how the ranking was compiled. It looks like they use sacks allowed and rushing yards and maybe total offense, but how do they weight them, if at all? I mean, sacks allowed is a function of a number of things including pass plays as a percent of total plays and how long the QB holds the ball. Rushing yards is obviously driven by, well, "rushing yards," but it could also be skewed in an offense that puts in a lot of quick passes to running backs in the backfield. So, interesting, but it doesn't really tell us much. The fact that the SB winner is three from the bottom suggests as much.
