Please start Andy Levitre in game one. Seymour will knock him back to yesterday if he doesn't get out of his way.

boy did he get plowed on that one play. they caught him in a high stance and bull rushed him into submission

I was wondering why they decided to go to no huddle this year. I think we know why now.

The first play of the season... line up Brace and Wilfork and have everyone else drop back into coverage.

Thought the same thing... Levitre was "supposedly" on NE's radar...

I could have sworn he was playing center. But, in any event, it doesn't matter. With technique like that, it doesn't matter if he's going up against Seymour, Wilfork, Warren, or Brace... he's getting run over.

Fixed your post for you. . . . the Pats just drafted a safety who can pancake OLs, too. ;)

Funny stuff and all but it was pre-season game one of FIVE for them. He'll get that stuff smoothed out. I just hope we're not all jumping from buildings when we stink up a pre-season game or two.

Were you not here last preseason/season? ;)

Sure was. I thought all the "milk drinkers" had jumped by the middle of game#1.

This is Patsfans.com. History tells us that if the Patriots are 15-0 heading into the last game and have a 56-0 lead with 2 minutes to go in the 4th quarter, someone will probably post "They suck!" if the defense surrenders a 1 yard completion on a screen pass.

Wasn't one of the OL, Chung pancaked a 1st round pick? :D

Uh-oh...the Pats may have a Levitre of their own but hopefully it's because he just got off PUP. At least Ohrenberger is a 4th rounder, Levitre went in the second:

From the Globe:

Richard Seymour looked un-blockable at times; on one snap, he bulldozed rookie Rich Ohrnberger back into the orange cone that was the “quarterback.”

seymour does that to alot of established vets........

there's a reason the bills are practicing no-huddle so much......they already know they can't keep defenses off of their QB......every position on their OL is being played by someone different from last year........

their defense will be spending 40min a game on the field

I know it was just one game, but Buffalo's O-line looks pretty terrible.

Against the Pats, I want to see even more of the Buffalo D than that. :D

Finally, someone who's got some sense. It was ONE play. If you watch the rest of the game, he actually did pretty well. I thought the first team offense and the first team defense did pretty well too. Of course they have a lot of work to do.

It was great to finally see some live NFL action. It's going to be a very interesting year. Getcha popcorn ready!

Buffalo's run defense looked good, but I didn't see much pass defense. On offense, TO did get open on a couple of plays, but I think the Pats will be able to contain him. Other than that, I didn't see much (excpet for the INT which caused everyone in the room to murmur, "There's the Buffalo we know.") Don't worry, we'll all have our popcorn ready on opening night

Heck, my favorite was Tennessee's fake punt. THAT play went perfect and made for some great watching. Not often a kicker gets to run one in for a touchdown... :)

That no huddle crap is going to kill them - Their players won't be able to walk by the 4th QTR.

Can't wait - and now Bill knows what they are going to do.......oh goodness.
