I found this very interesting.
4 parts.
Who is the all time Pats leading RB in yards per carry with a minimum qualifier of:

1) 200 carries
2) 300 Carries
3) 600 carries
4) 755 carries

Dont look it up, but the answers are very interesting.

Bonus question.
With a minimum of 75 rushes what player has the lowest career ypc in Pats history.

Jim Plunkett, Steve Grogan, Andy Johnson, and Curtis Martin.

My guess for lowest would be Marion Butts.

I am going to guess that Lawerence Maroney might be 1) and/or 2)

and I would say Nance or Cunningham for 3) and/or 4)

my second thought might be Faulk for one of them.

So you are saying that was right? I would have thought Tony Collins might be in there rather than Sam Bam.

No correct answers yet, some partial credit.
NOTE 1-4 are RUNNING BACKS ONLY. Grogan is the leader, but 1-4 only include RBs.
The bonus includes all positions.

I thought of collins, i almost put him down.

Grogan wrong because QBs not included.
Calhoun in fact is correct as #4. I actually had Faulk because he was higher when I sorted, but they were both 4.1. Calhoun was 4.1 and change Faulk is 4.0979.
Maroney is correct as best with 300+ carries.
Still missing best with 200+ and 600+ as well as the bonus quesiton.

OK i'll say Lamont Jordan for 200 carries.

Okay, no quarterbacks, then I'll go with Horace Ivory, Andy Johnson, Don Calhoun and Curtis Martin.

For the lowest average I'll stick with Marion big fat Butts over (under?) Reggie "one yard" Dupard.

come on Andy out with it...we are on page two so people can still play if they read the posts in order.

200...Sammy Morris
300...Laurence Maroney
600...Corey Dillon
755...Was supposed to be Kevin Faulk until I rechecked and Calhoun edged him out.
would have been basically the last 4 RBs we have had are the guys with the highest averages in team history.

The lowest rushing average of all PLAYERS with 75 carries.....Tom Brady. Primary due to his vast experience with the Victory Formation.

I thought these were the answers.

Some interesting numbers

YPA -- Player (attempts/yards)
5.1 --- Jim Plunkett (159/817)
4.9 --- Steve Grogan (445/2176)
4.2 --- Carl Garrett (537/2235)
4.2 --- Craig James (585/2469)
4.2 --- Corey Dillon (753/3180)
4.1 --- Horace Ivory (329/1336)
4.1 --- Andy Johnson (491/2017)
4.1 --- Kevin Faulk (777/3170)
4.1 --- Don Calhoun (820/3391)
4.0 --- Curtis Martin (958/3799)
4.0 --- Jim Nance (1323/5323)
3.9 --- Mosi Tatupu (612/2415) - I'm a little surprised at the total # of carries being that high
3.9 --- Tony Collins (1191/4647)
3.9 --- Sam Cunningham (1385/5453)
3.7 --- Mack Herron (353/1298) - I know most of his yards were on S/T but I thought he ran more than this
3.6 --- John Stephens (891/3249)
3.5 --- Leonard Russell (689/2437)
3.1 --- Reggie Dupard (186/571)
2.9 --- Marion Butts (243/703) - he was actually good with the Chargers, wasn't he?
2.0 --- Drew Bledsoe (270/553)
1.9 --- Tom Brady (276/533) - it's all those 3rd & 1 QB sneaks!
