Kelly is lost for the year. Two more went down yesterday with injuries, though not likely season ending. We seem to have an abundance...

Could they indeed?

Do we have Bengals sub-forum or is there some hidden reason behid this post?:D

Did you miss this part of my post:

I think they may be a trading partner...

That will push the TE's to play well in camp......
" Oh no, we're not going to cut you, We'll be sending you to purgatory..aka Cincinnati.."

Their other TE Ben Utecht suffered a concussion yesterday too, they are in the market for a TE but a blocking one.

Cincy won't want any Pats TEs.....no criminal records

I'm sure Cinci is in the market for a TE and I'd take this kid off their hands: Cincinnati Bengals: Rashad Jeanty

He's got some pash rush skills and can secure the edge vs run. Needs some work in coverage but solid vs run and can play ST.

This thread just solidifies the fact we all need the season to get here in a hurry. LOL funniest thing I have read all day.

Ben Watson for their 1st-rounder?

It may seem as if we have an abundance of TEs, but out of the 5 in camp, I expect 4 to make the Opening Day 53. That leaves only 1 whom we can afford to lose, but we haven't played any pre-season games yet.

Unfortunately, it's hard to have a surplus at any position while the TC roster limit remains at 80. If the Omissioner & the Busy-Body Committee were truly concerned about players' exposure to injuries, then they would immediately expand the limit to 90 (80 + the 10 former NFLE exemptions), at the very least. I would prefer the limit raised to 100.

No kidding. Just yesterday I started a thread questioning Karen Guergian's journalistic credibility over a 3rd string QB. Gesh.
