I know this is a silly question ( I have seen to many football movies) Do the players stay at the stadium with a curfew at night during trainning camp or do they go home?

Maybe someone else knows the exact answer....All I can say is that in the past they did stay at a hotel near by and I imagine had a curfew but I am not sure what they are doing this year. When they held camp at Bryant they stayed on campus.

They stay at hotels in the area.

Their typical schedule is - locker room at 6:30 AM.

Team and group Meetings, prior to practice to go over what they are going to do in the practice that day.

Practice at 9:30

Lunch

Then they get a couple of hours to either visit family, go back to their hotels or there is sleeping room - nap room at the stadium they can use. There also is a game room set up for cards, ping pong etc during that time.

Around 230 -Team and group meetings to go over the AM practice errors as well as what is to be accomplished during the upcoming practice.

Dinner and more team meetings.

They leave around 8:30.

So, they are looking at 14 hour days during training camp, day after day after day....no wonder the vets hate it so much.

Thanks. I thought that part was made up in the movies.

Ha, not quite but I did get the information, today, from someone that works at a pretty high position for the team itself.

I thought that the curfew/hotel part only applied to the rookies. I just can't see them making all of the veterans do that.

i dont know how it is with the patriots, but up at albany the giants stay in the dorms on campus. im sure certain players get benefits but i would guess for the most part, the players stay at the dorms

Funny. It sounds so high school but makes since for team chemistry.

Staying in campus dorms sucks. IIRC guys were not happy staying at Bryant. Dorms are small and bland. How would like to sleep 3 feet away from a rookie 300lb o-lineman that just ate a pepperoni pizza and a quart of chili for supper? Now that's chemistry! :help:

The sarcasm is evident, guys. :D

He is just jealous because I took a customer and not him to the VIP training camp experience today.....LOL.

Minus the O-linemen part that might explain why my college roomate droped out after his first semester  worked out for me as he wasn't replaced second Semester.
