Hey all ... here are some early notes from the Tuesday AM practice session which I am adding to as we speak.

So who the heck DID practice?

Some of the names on the "MIA" list are spookin' me.

Chris, heads up: You said, "Former Broncos and Raiders coach Mike Shanahan were in attendance."

I believe you meant "was in attendance".

So who the heck DID practice?

Some of the names on the "MIA" list are spookin' me.

The three that I wonder about is Seymour, Whilhite, and now I am addind Bruschi......The other guys were PUP or I am guessing vet time off.

But Sey, Bru and Whilhite have missed too many just for it to be days off. Sey's injury is supposedly hammy (via herald), I saw Whilhite appear to hurt his right shoulder, but Bru is a ?.

I don't know what to make of this line...

"...Tank Williams taking down Dave Thomas and Darius Butler absolutely embarrassing Eric Alexander."

Did TW take down DT with DB's help and how does that embarrass EA?

Or did TW take DT and DB down together? How does that embarrass EA?

I may be half kidding but I'm also half serious.

some defensive players were carrying the ball too...Butler made Alexander look foolish

and Tank tackled D. Thomas..it was the best tackle of the drill.

I forgot to include this in my thread....glad Chris picked me up on that one.

No worries--should have done a better job explaining just what's going on. In those one-on-one drills, one guy has a ball, and the other guy has got to stop him. (Did I mention I really like this drill?) Anyway, as SBB stated, sometimes they have a defensive guy carrying the ball. Williams crushed Thomas and Butler made EA look foolish.
