Despite shoulder pads helmets and shorts this was actually pretty fun and definitely encouraging.

One on One WR v DBs coming out of the endzone....tough drill for the DBs but I saw nice plays from Chung and Butler....though Butler got beat on a Go route to Moss.

Red Zone work WR v DBs no lines. Chung and Butler each had nice plays though Butler went from nice play vs Moss to getting beat Welker who beat him a couple times.

Red Zone work with the lines.....Tully had one play where he would have had a sack. Moss had a TD swatted away from him by Chung....Meriweather was cheering Chung and celebrating with him. Meriweather again clearly is taking to the role of being the leader of the DBs and I would be suprised if he is not a Captain this year.

They went to a one minute offense starting around midfield. First play 40 yards to Galloway who beat his guy by 5 yards. The pass from Brady was a little deep but Galloway leaped and made the grab falling to the ground on his back in bounds. Next Play incomplete. Than a 5 yarder to welker. But all for not as the next play was picked off by Meriweather.

Edelman dropped another punt. But had a few nice grabs. Despite someone pointing out to me early on here that he did play some STs in College he seems quite raw as a STer which will make it difficult on his making the 53.

re: Edelman - Yes, Kent State used him on STs in college a handful of times, but most of his time was spent learning and playing QB so I'm content with his progress to date.

Brady's gift: A cake ... in his face - Reiss' Pieces - Boston.com

I saw brady cleaning himself off for a few minutes there but had no Idea why. it actually kind of scared me as he was off to the side and was even bending down to get it off his shoes....he never went near the knee but for a few seconds I thought it could have been a different injury...

now I do Light got him in the face with the cake.

Late in the practice I saw him wiping himself off again apperently he couldnt get it all out

Reiss has a great picture of it!!!!

I was there this PM. Welker & Faulk each catch punts left handed while holding a football in their right hands. Amazing. Rookie Edelman sometimes drops one catching with two hands. I think it's a matter of staying focused.

Great seeing Brady get pied!

OMG! Bill had his left leg amputated! He must have amazing balance.

Bill Belichick at Training Camp

why would someone photoshop like that???? just to get hits?

I was wondering that too, but I think it's just the perspective. His leg is back there somewhere...

It was really inspiring at camp, watching him hop from group to group for hands-on coaching.

That bastid Belichick, he'll do anything to get a leg up on rival coaches

True, where do people think they found the spare parts for Brady's bionics?

It's scary how good this offense can be if Brady's now as fast as Belichick.
