Just when we thought we were out . . . another Al Bundy-to-Patriots rumor pulled us back in.

Minutes after we posted what we thought was our final Bundy rumor squashing post of the afternoon, Jeff Darlington of the Miami Herald sent PFT a whopper.

Darlington cites a "very reliable NFL source" that Bundy was on the field in Foxborough at 3:30 p.m. working out for the Patriots.

Hours later, Darlington was kind enough to send us actual photo evidence! It appears that the Bundy-to-Pats rumors are true!

Oh, and sorry if you have to move this, mods. But (especially considering all the Vick hoopla around here) I couldn't resist.

4 touchdowns in one game at Polk high.....Who doesn't want that on their team.

Kontradiction, you are a master--well-played. Someone forward this to Florio.

You have no idea how long it took me to figure out how to merge two separate pictures in MSPaint.

Well nice job...last time I tried to do the MSpaint merge the file wound up to big for me to post and I quit.

I guess he worked out another deal with the devil

Update: Word out of PFT is that Bundy signed a one year "prove it" deal for the vet minimum.

Well, at least it's AL Bundy rather that Ted Bundy... fortunately the latter was executed, otherwise we'd have to keep a close eye on all the Pats cheerleaders. Not that THAT would be a bad thing. Nope. Not at all...

Keep a close eye on the Pats cheerleaders? Why, is Kelly Bundy on the squad now?

BREAKING NEWS: Al Bundy just signed a 1 year deal with the New England Patriots.

Will this affect his job at the shoe store? ;)

Were it Ted Bundy, we'd get 200 posts from fanboys arguing that Ted Bundy wasn't really all that bad compared to Dillon & Moss, and that if BB thought he'd improve the team they would be all for signing him. At a cap friendly deal of course.

Great job Kontra. Thread is just missing the Kelly Bundy pics.

In related news, Elvis, Bigfoot, and Loch Ness Monster have all been spotted on the field at Foxboro. Eyewitness accounts report they were transported to the field by the alien spacecraft from Roswell and all three had personal workouts with Bill Belichick. When asked for comment, their agent, Oliver Stone, responded "I have no knowledge of any workouts although I am confident that the shooter from the grassy knoll is close to a deal with the Patriots."
