But here in Philadelphia we have three good cornerbacks who are all ahead of him on the depth chart. Asante Samuel (another old friend of your's), Sheldon Brown, and Joselio Hanson.Check the main Pats forum and you'll see plenty of discussion on them there. You might have to go back a few pages since right now there are a lot of threads on training camp.
Chung appears to be a guy with a very high motor and right now the best of the group. Butler will probably only see the field on special teams this year; there's a crowded group at CB ahead of him. Right now i's wait-and-see with Brace as to how often he'll get in to the game since the Pats play a 3-4 and Wilfork is ahead of him. A lot of people think Tate will end up going on IR and not see any playing time this year. Many of the draft experts felt the Pats reached for Sebastian Vollmer on the OL but he seemed to earn high praise during mini camps and OTA's.
How's our old friend Ellis Hobbs doing?

Ellis Hobbs is very good depth at the number four cornerback position.
Yeah, we all watched Samuel with interest last year. Hobbs was a bit over his head as a #1 CB here last year but should excel as a nickel or dime back. He's also an excellent and under rated kick returner. Seems to be a genuinely good guy too, for what that's worth.Ellis Hobbs is doing fine. Our kick returner last year, Quintin Demps, is possibly our replacement for Dawkins at FS. So, this gives Hobbs a great chance at kick returner this season.Yeah, we all watched Samuel with interest last year.
