Is the oldest in the NFL. Although the Patriots are younger than they were at this point last season, their average age of 27.2 - calculated based on actual birthdates - makes them the oldest club in the league.

crap. I thought we were getting younger :cool: :D
 
Have to wonder if we will be the oldest in September...

The fascinating thing is that this team isn't "aging." They're going out and getting pre-aged new blood. 3 of the 4 oldest players on the roster -- Galloway, Springs and Taylor -- are new FA signings.

Exactly. This is how BB builds his roster. w/solid and hungry vets.

Here's some of the players that come to mind quickly that skew the age number upwards:
Galloway, 37
Bruschi, 36
Springs, 34
Hanson, 33
Taylor and Faulk, 33
Morris, 32
 
Old or Young, we are a much better team than last year and one that is poised to make some noise all season long...
