Boomer Sooner! I was in the South Central part of the state near Ardmore--actually a little town called Davis. You ever been to Turner Falls?

I think Miami comes down hard this year simply because they will be playing a first place schedule (instead of a last place one) and not playing the afc and nfc west.

Arguing over the Patriots record would be funny, "You didn't say 14-2, I did!" "Your both morons. 19-0 Baby!" "Do you know how hard 19-0 is?"

The Jets have a rookie QB. Yes, you can name Ryan, Flacco, and Roethlesberger and I'll name Peyton, Carr, Couch, etc. Expect rookie mistakes as Sanchez finds out college open is not pro open or "Gee those DBs are fast."

If the Jets see .500 it will be a great season for them.

The NY media won't see it that way, however.

I seriously wonder how Sanchez will take to being called a bust after week#1, if not pre-season.

Not as far as the Pats go, and I don't mind Buffalo. I just want the Jets and Fins to suck but not bad enough so that they get good draft picks and get better. I'd be very happy for them to be mired in mediocrity, going 8-8 year after year.

After jumping out to 5-1 starts (1 to allow for early games with the Pats) before tanking and dragging their fan base down to the basement steps with them.

You think the Saints will be that good? That's interesting. I actually expect them to be really good as well. I'm still picking the Giants to represent the NFC in the SB, though. I'd be all up for a NE/NYG rematch.
