Police confirmed that McNair's girlfriend had shot him while Steve was sleeping with residue found on the body by medical study.

On Sirius NFL minutes ago in a breaking news conference,the authorities have info regarding the mental state of Steve's girlfriend Sahel,which was stated to be 'out of control' and that she accused him days before of cheating on him with another girl and she was also having problems in making payments for an Escalade that she and Steve had in her name.

Sounds something like someone who needed help,having a nervous breakdown or mental wipeout and resulting in a horrible tragedy.

The weird thing about this all is how the medical examiner confirmed that Sahel first shot McNair in the right temple,Then proceded to shoot him twice in the chest and then went to his left temple and shot the 4th bullet into him there - Thats more disturbing then I thought originally and she had to have been totally wacked out or drugged up if this is true to kill someone like this,He was probably dead the moment the first bullet entered his right temple and probably not necessary to enter more bullets in a sadistic way like that.

I shudder in disbelief at this report,Steve apparently died like an animal at a slaughterhouse,simply mind numbing to have this happen to a human being.

The weird thing about this all is how the medical examiner confirmed that Sahel first shot McNair in the right temple,Then proceded to shoot him twice in the chest and then went to his left temple and shot the 4th bullet into him there - Thats more disturbing then I thought originally and she had to have been totally wacked out or drugged up if this is true to kill someone like this,He was probably dead the moment the first bullet entered his right temple and probably not necessary to enter more bullets in a sadistic way like that.

It doesn't sound sadistic at all, all four shots clearly should have been fatal and it sounds like she didn't want him to suffer, but did want to make sure he was dead. What it may say about her emotional state is for some of our forensic psychiatry experts here to say, but it surely isn't sadism.

Not at all actually. You just need to ignore the way Florio spins things to drum up hits on his site.

In other words there was blood all over her hands so the test couldn't tell them if there was any on her right hand. The residue on her left hand proves that she fired the gun, likely with two hands around itwhen she shot Mcnair, then just with the right when she shot herself.

what ever happen to crazy? you cant be crazy no more? When I was a kid, the crazy kids went to school in the little ass bus, and they had a room at the end of the school, just in case they went crazy, they only hurt other crazy kids.

Before his unexpected death on July 4, former Tennessee Titan quarterback Steve McNair had continued his tradition of civic involvement by filming a public service announcement for the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities, The City Paper has learned.

Sources say the advertisement was filmed, and editors were working on taglines and voiceovers when the deaths were discovered.

When asked about the existence of the PSA, the mental health department confirmed that the filming had occurred.

“We were developing a PSA but it never reached the point of being aired and it seems broadcasting it now is not only inappropriate but doesn't serve the community, his family or memory, or the issue we hoped the PSA would help address,” said Jill Hudson, the department’s communications director.
