I'm not crazy about this move.
Far be it from me to think I know better than Ainge, KG, Paul and Ray who want him.

I'm not sure where he fits in ... very slow and very lazy.
Like I said ... what do I know? :confused2:

Opinions people? You people ... what say you?

I think he can add something...he's one of the few players that will instantly improve his team.

I'd rather have Big Baby, but the money is probably going to be extreme.

Rasheed Wallace is a hothead who can't keep his composure during games.

However, I've also read that he has one of the smartest basketball IQ's in the league, and one doesn't find too many players with his skill set.

Wallace is insurance for another KG absence due to injury.

So which is it clambrain, yes or no?

If Maverick4 the sports guru is against the move; good enough for me, sign the guy.

If he likes the guy on the Celtics, then don't sign him.

And of all people to be talking about other's IQ's, Mr "mine is two above plant life" himself................

I think Wallace would be a great addition.

It wouldn't make them the clear top team in the East but they would be right up there.

That post was about as good as any you've ever made here Double G. Just another worthless garbage post from Double G with zero substance.

I know high school was the best ten years of you life and all, but in the post by you I referenced, you were debating yourself on the merits of bringing Wallace here.

Let's recap; first you said "He's a hothead who can't keep his composure during games."

Ok then, you don't want him.

But, they you said "He has one of the smartest basketball IQ's in the league and one doesn't find too many players with skillset."

Ok, so now you do want him.

THEN you said "He's insurance against another injury to KG."

SO, sounds like you definately want the guy here.

All I asked was do you or don't you want him here?

Why get your batman huggies all in a twist over a simple question?

And, I'll close with saying you are the king of worthless garbage posts with zero substance.

And substance is something you know plenty about.

Substance abuse that is.

Carry on you douchebag.

Except he's speaking the truth...

Still can't get over how you got schooled in stats, can you.

Troll.

I'm not being a wise azz, i really don't know, but isn't Wallace about 75 years old?

Turns 35 in September.

He averaged about 12 points and 7.4 rebounds(higher than all Celts) in 32 minutes a game, across it looks like he had higher stats than all of the Celtics bench players...

At one time that would be old, now a days it probably isn't. But i still can't see him as more than a backup

His days are over as a starter full time...but he's one hell of a weapon off the bench that the team needed during the playoff run.

Classic troll, contributes nothing except to make a scene.

This would be a tremendous move - and as you can see from the fact that Ainge, Rivers, KG, Pierce, and Allen all personally visitied Wallace in his home to convince him that he was a key piece to another championship, I'd think that would answer any questions or concerns as to whether he could be a good match if he puts his mind to it.

That's the question - whether he'd accept coming off the bench - and do well coming off the bench, coming in cold to a hot game etc... and whether the money the Celts can offer would be enough.

But he's the best guy out there for the Celts to go after right now - he can give multiple players breaks, play different roles, and get plenty of minutes, points, and hopefully a championship ring.

If he agrees to sign here we take him without thinking twice.
