Branch Not Among 15 Most Important Seahawks

Despite what I said about him when he forced his way out of town, I would fly to Seattle and chauffeur him back to Boston if necessary, if it meant putting him in this offense. I don't care what anybody says about Branch, this offense would be so lethal with him in it & a healthy Brady it would be downright unfair.

That said, I still don't see them cutting ties with him, there was a time when things pointed that way, but it seems to have come around in the other direction and now the team is committed to him.

I feel the same way. Despite him wanting a new deal which forced his way out of town, he seemed like a great teammate. I'd take him back in a heartbeat.

And his rapport w Brady was much like Moss' is. And he and Moss and Welker all operate in different parts of the field. Honestly, he would be really deadly in this offense.

There's no question he had a GREAT game against the Patriots last season. (Of course, you don't get to play against your old team that often, but still ...)

It makes sense. He missed half of last season with injuries and just had his knee scoped. The way he's talking about his knee makes it seem like he isn't very confident he can be a very good player from here on out.

With his many injury problems in Seattle, it would appear that BB and co. got it right with him. Of course they didn't predict any of it, but they obviously didn't see enough to warrant the big contract. With all that said, he would absolutely be a weapon in the current offense. Ah well. I'll guess I'll just have to settle for Galloway.:p:cool:

Its great to think about....In the 3 WR-set, Moss and Branch split wide and Welker in the slot. In 4-Wide. Moss and Galloway on the outside and Branch and Welker in the slots.

Problem is that Branch said it himself that because of the injuries hes had, he is not the same player that he used to be. Even then, he'd be an upgrade over any 5th or 6th WR they have now on the roster..IMO.

Initially, maybe, but the fact is, hes on the way down because of the injuries, and for 5th/6th WR, you want young developmental guys who are on the way up.

I don't think he'll come back but if he did, I'd want him to come back with his tail between his legs, a beaten man.

BB should make him kiss his ring.

Making an awful lot of money to be a middle of the pack member of the Seattle Seahawks ;) BB wins again
