except they picked Holt over Moss. I'm not seeing that one.

Moss played ONE great season this decade for NE and only a very good one last year - Holt was much better overall this decade - Moss's best years were in 2007 and then go back to the late 90s where he was great then - not so great between 2000 and 2006

What about in 2000, 2001, and 2003?

3 pro bowls in that period is nothing? 2 1st team all-pro selections in that period is nothing (compared to 1 for Holt)?

107-68 edge in touchdowns for the decade, in favor of Moss...

I guess the SB ring made the difference, and I admit looking at stats its close, but I'd take Randy.

I would think you would also base it on performance in helping the team win - While the Rams were dominant in the NFC during the early millennium and Holt was on a tear,Moss was on a 5 win team one year and 6 wins the next - That makes the difference I guess.

ESPN + Brain =

Anyway I thought this was kinda cool stat found in the comments,
When their team scores:
20+points
Brady is 75-8
Manning is 101-28

30+points
Brady is 40-0
Manning is 60-6

When their team allows
30+ points
Brady is 5-7
Manning is 7-24

19 points or less
Brady is 62-2
Manning is 67-3
Go Colts defense!

Holt had a 6 win team, a 3 win team, and a 2 win team.

Yup, Holt played on as many bad teams as Moss did. Let's be honest; the vote's pretty strictly about the fact that he was a jerk in Minnesota and didn't try hard in Oakland. People still hold that against him, and it is what it is. Oh well.

Yeah... that's just not true.

blame it on the raiders. Being on the raider really hurt moss.

They're not making any sense, they claim that Manning is more talented but Brady came out of no where as a 6th round pick: where someone is picked is irrelevent. If Manning can do a better job then he should get the nod, the fact that Brady might have more relative value as a draft pick doesn't matter, it's about the best team not the best bang for your buck regarding draft picks.

That being said, I think Brady is a more talented QB than Manning.

Eh. Even ESPN can state the obvious sometimes. I'm just shocked that they pulled their lips off Manning's nuts.

Isn't this a bit premature?

In many cases (such as Holt vs Moss or Manning vs Brady) it is close enough that what happens this year could change the results.

Well its simple for me regarding Brady vs Manning.

If you are having a game with nothing major on the line then either one will do the job exceptionally well.

Add that major pressure and Brady is your guy and nobody comes close to being such a great clutch player.

How did Kris Jenkins make the list when he missed almost two complete years and struggled the following two years? He had three or four dominant years, but he was wildly up and down due to injuries and conditioning.

I think that Brady guy,ya he is a good pick.:D

What would people think if I were to say I disagree with LT for tailback. I know the guy only has two years in but Adrian Petersen is the best I've seen since Barry Sanders. I would have him over LT at his very best.
