I want to see a 19-0 in 09 so bad because i can't find a reason to refuse it.:D:D:singing:

Do you want the same thing???;)

man, just being a fan rooting for that is a grind, I can't imagine the toll it takes on the players. As much as I'd love to see 16-0, at the end of the day it's really no different than 14-2 and home field in the playoffs.

The different is HUGE. The greatest TEAM EVER.:D

Just focus on one game at a time.

I'm on board for 19-0.

Count me in.

The way I see it, we've got unfinished business to take care of. Let's seal the deal.

If that happened, Tom Brady would finish the year with 36 straight regular season wins in a row (20 current plus 16). Wow!

I am rooting for 1-0. I'll worry about 2-0 when it comes to that.

If it happens...it happens. I just want to see 'em win another Super Bowl. Anything else is gravy.

Obviously I don't want it to happen. lol

But it won't so there isn't any reason to worry about that. They will definitely lose at least 3 in the regular season. This team isn't as good as 07 [they can still be pretty damn good this year, just not perfect] so don't set your hopes so high, Pats fans!

This one is a difficult one for me. I would love to see it, but I think we're all a little spoiled in thinking that that's the kind of thing that just happens because we have tons of talent on paper. So many things have to happen for something like that to be possible. For one, remember all the close games that we were able to pull out, particularly the Baltimore game where that T.O. was called after Brady was stuffed on the fourth-down play. That T.O. doesn't get called, the Pats lose that game. So many things went right that year for NE besides the dedication and coaching. A little luck has a lot to do with it. Besides, like BradyFTW stated, it is such a grind on the fans and the players. Remember in 2007 when that's all anyone could talk about whenever you turned on the TV. I was on pins and needles every damn week. By the end of the season, I felt drained. My roommates gave me grief about it every single week because they were all rooting for NE to fail. That's just one part of it.

The other part is I simply can't take another 16-0 season that doesn't end in a championship. I literally stayed away from the sports world for 8 months following the *bleep* game. My heart was broken. I was devastated. I hated the whole Giants team. I hated the NE offensive line. I hated Asante Samuel. I hated Rodney Harrison. I hate Vince Wilfork. I hated Merriweather. I hated sports. I can't go through that again. I really can't.

Lastly, I don't know if the defense is up to the task. I know that defense wasn't great, but there was a lot of veteran leadership to keep the focus on the goal. Though we still have veteran leadership, one could argue that our two biggest leaders, Vrabel and Harrison, being gone leaves two HUGE holes to fill. Also, we really don't know what we'll be getting from Bodden and Springs just yet. The AFC East is improved this year as well. I say let's make it to week 10 with an unblemished record and maybe then we can start to wonder. If we make it to week 13 or 14 with unscathed, then I think we can really start to think the Pats could do 16-0 again. Let's just hope that they don't run into the Giants again if that's the case.

So, like many have said, I'll settle for one game at a time. If it happens, then GREAT. If not and we win another SB, then GREAT. I'd love to see it if it were guaranteed that the Pats would cap it off in the SB. But since it's obviously something that cannot be guaranteed, I'd rather suffer a defeat or two on the way to winning the SB.

I really can't see a scenario where they don't win 19.

It's sickening how spoiled you guys are.

It is, isn't it. Something JETS fans can only dream about. And it must chafe you guys to no end that you were this close to being us and the only reason we are instead is because of one sentence scribbled on a ****tail napkin: I resign as the HC of the NYJ...:p

19-0 is for wimps. I want to finishout the decade 38-0.

But then, one undefeated season at a time, I suppose, so put me in for 19-0.

All you guys with the one-game-at-a-time stuff. Are you currently on an NFL roster? If not, it's okay to look ahead.

u always root for your team to do the best possible....

19-0 is what we ALL go for....none of us want us to lose a game...they count too much

but honeslty, as a fan, i want 12 wins first...after that ill see the rest...if we get to 12-0 by some chance, than ill be rooting for another undefeated season.....and every night ill hope we finally close it out with that 19th win...

but a SB win above all else, i want to see another ring above everything
a SB is the only thing i care about....the rest ill take if they come our way, and ill hope for them if they get close to accomplishment...

I have been spelling the Patriots as J-U-G-G-E-R-N-A-U-T because I think this Patriots team is MUCH better than the 2007 edition of the Patriots. I think the passing Offense will be better than 2007 with Joey Galloway over Stallworth and the 2007 receivers.

I think the Team speed on Defense is much better, as is the Defensive backfield coverage ability. The depth is better, too. LB speed and talent is much better, despite the Cassandras. Both Thomas and Mayo could be pro-bowlers at LB. How bad can your LB crew be with two probowlers in it?

Best of all, this edition of the Pats is better equipped to run the ball and pound it down the throats of the opposition, as well as suddenly killing them in the passing game, short and Long. Big leads will lead to opponents turnovers, and sacks, as they attempt to play catchup. :snob::snob:
