Brad Penny got to pitch his game tonight because he did not have to worry about SuckAssLugo frigging up his game. He owes Francona big time for this one. F#ck Lugo ... eat the $9 mil Theo ... worse signing ever.

great game tonight by Penny ... a guy I did not want ... I was wrong ... I admit it.
How much can we get for him now? :D:D:D

Trade value just got bumped up.

Great effort by him tonight, not bad for a fifth starter...........lol.........he got outpitched by Fatso, what can you say.......until Fatso imploded in the 8th inning and that stellar bullpen soiled itself, 4-3 Red Sox, 8-0 vs the Yankees, "A sure fire lock to win the World Series now that we stole Teshata from the Red Sox"...................

Another sweet victory, 9 in a row against the Skanks. Even Papi hit a dinger. Life is good.:D

Yeah... Penny was great tonight......
He did nothing but improve his trade value.

Any team scouting him tonight just increased their offer.
97 on the gun in the 1st inning.

Perfect.
After blowing the Yanks out in game one. The Sox end this series with their 5th starter against the Yanks ace who duels him to a draw, then the Sox come from behind for the win.
Hopefully, when we meet again in August, the starters are aligned Beckett, Lester, and....

Great outing, Eckersley is proving to be an interesting commentator.. lets hope this carries over to Philly.. will Papi play or will he sit down, I really dislike interleague play.

I miss Rem Dawg still but Eck is getting better all the time.

I still would choose Remy ... he's funny during the blowouts.

Last I heard Rem was pretty ill. What's the latest? I like him, too. Great booth guy.

I've heard zero about rem dog. i was hoping he was close to returning. the sox games just aren't the same without him.

Nope ... I was right ... his BAA is .299 ... imagine that 1 out of every three batters gets a hit. WHIP is 1.53 ... pathetic ... No wonder Smoltz was pissed off at the Sox. We let him go and we keep Brad freaking Penny. I need to talk to Frank from glostah.

Quoting yourself to prove you were right about being wrong about being right. That's a new one.

Yeah ... I thought it was funny ... it was really just an excuse to vent.:steamed::steamed::steamed:

I hear you Icy. The next time he pitches well(assuming this actually happens), we'll all be saying.."I always liked that kid":D

Well the good news is that it's 19-7 currently and this is still only a two score game. Oh wait, this isn't football.

Brad Penny has moved into the #2 spot of Red Sox pitchers who I hate. Whose is #1? Well ... none other than Mike Torres - another guy who was lucky to get out of the 1st inning and who also averaged giving up at least a hit an inning.

How can someone suck so bad as to have a BAA of .299.
He could make a AAA player look good.

He has the straightest fastball ever. There is no movement on it and hitters love that.
