I'm in Boston for work next and I should be able to get away on Monday and possibly Tuesday. I'm thinking of running up to Foxboro and checking out Patriot Place and going to the HOF and the CBS Scene. Is there anything else I should do while in Foxboro? Is practice open to the public next week? I'm hardly ever in the area so I never kept up with what is private, public and press only.

Practices are not open until training camp in July.

I recommend the tour of Patriot Place. They have a LOT of great memorabilia up there (Super Bowl trophies, Brady's MVP trophy, a lot of game worn items, etc. etc.). I remember it being like $10 or so for the tour but well worth it. They might be running deals in the team store as well since it's the offseason - at least they were the day after the Pats/Jets game last season.

There's places to eat and shop there as well. Either way, enjoy the trip.

I did that, too. It was okay. Not really worth the drive in and of itself. Come back again in July for training camp. You may not like watching practices of free kicks and drills, but you can buy all the $9 beer you can drink.

If he's in town, walk around the Back Bay and the Public Garden and hope to score a Brady and/or Gisele sighting?

I thought it was well worth the drive :D

Thanks for the suggestion, I'm assuming the tour you are talking about is at the The Hall?

Asinine responses like this are the reason I don't post on this site very often. What a jerk.

This message is hidden because ivanfears is on your ignore list.

It'll make your Patfans.com experience much more enjoyable.

Are you saying the only thing we have to fear is ivanfears itself?

(my apologies to FDR)

While you're there, it's fun just to walk around the stadium. Also, if you're into anything remotely outdoorsy, the Bass Pro shop is pretty entertaining.

Funny to compare Patriots Place to what was there only a couple of years ago. At least now there's some "there" there.
