NFL Defining Moments of this Decade

That Article just ends the Team of the Decade discussion... How many of those 21 photos were of the Pats, vs any other team?

It's obvious, with the drama, the winning, the talent, the records, and the story lines, the Pats are the team of the decade...

Couple things they missed about the Pats that I thought were allot bigger then a few of this moments:

- The dynasty after winning Super Bowl XXXIX

- The persuit of perfection in 07 that included a 16-0 Regular season (though they saw fit to put Tyree's catch there).

I'm not so sure Romo going on vacation should be a definining moment :p

If Romo going on vacation is bigger than our back to back Superbowls, then I need to find another sport to follow.

In my opinion, SI's naming the Patriots as the team of the decade (or at least the runaway front runner) vindicates them of the whole Spygate scandal. I'm not trying to reopen old wounds, but rather still trying to close them. I find that a lot of the haters continue to just label the Patriots cheaters and turn their back on anything that can be said in a positive light. Yes, time heals all wounds, but for the moment, am I the only one thinking that by this declaration by SI vindicates them in any way?

It seems like if the mainstream media can let it go than it's a huge step in the right direction.

******* annoying set of pictures if you ask me. Based on that, one would view the Pats decade as a negative..... Which it obviously wasn;t.

This is why the past 4 seasons, though painful at the conclusions, do not bother me much at all anymore.

Can somebody do the math and see what % of those images involve Patriots? You don't need to know anything about rings, wins, or broken records to see how great a team the Patriots of the 2000s have been. One of the greatest ever, without a doubt and still more to come.

Seriously, those were 2 historical achievements.

I was just thinking, how the hell does a QB who is CURRENTLY PLAYING IN THE LEAGUE get invited to do the coin toss at a Super Bowl lol

Where is 16-0, Brady & Moss's records?

Wow, I had never seen that angle of Pollard's hit before.

I fixed this one so it's more historically accurate.

Lame. The Giants beat us. Please don't give me this BS about the Patriots being "jobbed" out of a Superbowl. The refs aren't gonna call something like that with the game on the line.

Just think if the two teams had been switched and Tom Brady was the one making the throw to someone, evading sack attempts, etc. We both know you wouldn't be talking about no grasp rule.

If you want to talk about being "jobbed" out of something lets talk about the Tuck rule game.

Always nice to see the trolls pretending to be Patriots fans....

LOL, I've lived in MA all my life. I go to school in Boston. I'm a Patriots fan.

I was just as crushed as the next Pats fan when they lost in the Super Bowl.

One thing I'm not is a Pats fanboy. I'm not going to act like the Patriots can do no wrong and not give other teams credit where credit is due. The Giants outplayed the Patriots in the Super Bowl.

The tuck rule you cited was correctly applied. The refusal to call holding was not. You can make any claim of residency you want to. Conflating those two calls and siding with the Raiders one as being the "job" call is just trolling.

And I don't pin the loss on that non-call, just for the record.

Oh, I'm sorry, see this thread was for people who have an IQ higher than your current post count, sorry we forgot to post the sign. Our bad.
