Well, at least Adam Seward is still available.

Bears Haul In Tinoisamoa
Posted by Aaron Wilson on May 29, 2009, 5:34 p.m. EDT
The Chicago Bears reached an agreement on a one-year contract today with veteran free agent linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa, according to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Sun-Times.

The transaction reunites the former St. Louis Rams starter with Bears coach Lovie Smith and linebackers coach Bob Babich, who previously coached Tinoisamoa in St. Louis.

Tinoisamoa reportedly chose the Bears over the Buffalo Bills. He also visited the New England Patriots, but they signed Paris Lenon this week.

Per the report, Tinoisamoa is projected to play on first and second downs for the Bears.

A former second-round draft pick from the University of Hawaii, Tinoisamoa led the Rams in tackles during four of his six NFL seasons.

Good..no more talk about him coming here.....

I think Pisa is a far better fit there. He made the right move. The guy is more of a 4-3, Tampa 2 LB than a 3-4, 2 gap LB.

Damn!! - There goes my 230 posted thread now!

i think we need to clarify this....

Adam Seward is NOT available....hes on the Colts roster

Adam Seward will always be available. He's Adam Seward. He can clone himself at will.

Nah.... JSP is still splitting hairs about the meaning of 'interest'. It's almost Clintonian.

Actually I thought it was somewhat Clintonian that Deus acknowledges that the Patriots reached out to Tinoisamoa, spoke to his agent, had him fly out Boston and meet in Foxboro - apparently just to tell him that they had no interest in him!

I'm looking forward to seeing Deus using his same logic to show that the Bills interest in PT is proof that they had no interest in him either.

I hope, for your sake, you're not waiting under water holding your breath...

I had just blogged on this topic this morning. Are the Pats just going to sit on their hands here? Do they think that they have a strong enough linebacker core as it is?

I've just begun to entertain the idea of Jarvis Green dropping back for maybe a dozen snaps a game... scary.

Anyway, check out my blog here and let me know what you think the Pats should do that the OLB spot.

On to the next forum binky...

Given that the Patriots signed Paris Lemon two or three days ago, why do we care where the LB Belichick clearly liked LESS ended up signing?

I don't think he liked him less, but he didn't wanna pay him that much money. Pissah was looking for startersmoney and we still need to sign Wilfork.

So how much did he sign for?

Here is the deal

I am glad the Patriots didn't sign him

Still a little disappointed the Bills didn't sign him.

But I still am not sure how he got waived in the first place

,,,he is a pisa sh!t????
