Good interview

Holy crap I just noticed the threads look different. Everything is on the side instead of at the top.

Right, Curran's speculation and information turned out to be wrong, obviously he had no way of knowing what Brady knew about his own knee. But I don't see how that is at all comparable to what Tomase did.
I'm not saying it was at Curran's level but it's clear to me that Curran took a snippet of information and amplified it which got him a lot of attention and hits but had no basis in fact.

But, moving on, that doesn't matter anymore and I considered Curran a journeyman before this episode so it didn't change my opinion of him.

Great story, Brady is so pumped, just reading his comments translates into instant excitement !

I'm so sic'd to see them all back out there !

With his voice rising as he leaned forward in his chair, Brady said that playing 10 more seasons "is a big goal of mine, a very big goal. I want to play until I'm 41. And if I get to that point and still feel good, I'll keep playing. I mean, what the hell else am I going to do? I don't like anything else

SSSSSHHHH. Did you hear that? That was our division rivals collectivly saying, "OH SH*T!":disagreement::mad:

Patriots are going to tear **** up in '09 BOY!!!:D

It's a terrible shame we lost a year of the greatest QB that will ever helm the Patriots.

Yeah, it stinks. But maybe, just maybe, it got us more time at the other end.

I don't mean to be a party pooper, but has there EVER been an NFL QB who has played on the same team who drafted him after reaching 40?

Usually once a QB hits the upper 30s he gets traded elsewhere from his original team (Like Montana and Bledsoe ect
)

I want TFB to play as long as possible, but if I were him, I would want to spend time more time with my ridiculously hot wife ... while she is still ridiculously hot. :)

Yeah, She'll be a cow in 10 years.......

So will this finally quiet the people who think that Brady's retiring in the next couple of years to become a c-list celebrity? I have no idea how anyone could honestly think that, since he's about the most driven football player most of us will ever see.

In 10 years Giselle will still be smoking hot.

YOWSA, something to warm the heart of PAts fans while we wait for the start of TC.

New Blood on the D and Welker & Moss comfortable with TB and the O from day 1 I can't wait!

Sure you do...

Montana got traded because he became increasingly injury prone at an age (36-37) when they had his replacement waiting in the wings. He missed all of the 1991 season and most of 1992 before being traded in 1993. He retired in 1995 at 39. And please, nobody traded Bledsoe because of his age...he was 29 when Brady replaced him and had just turned 30 when he was traded.

Don't know if Tommy will make it to 41, but I always had him pegged for 38-39 anyway. I don't think he will remain - or move on - if he believes his skills are diminishing, though. And I do think he has other plans only he's trying to head off the irrational backlash that often arises when he mentions the possibility of things like life beyond football...

Colts coaching changes fluster Manning

By Mike Chappell

The on-going uncertainty surrounding the Indianapolis Colts offensive coaching staff, coupled with a lack of communication regarding that uncertainty, isn't setting well with quarterback Peyton Manning.

"I can't tell you what's going on,'' Manning said during a break for one of the team's organized team activity sessions today at its Westside complex. "I will say I don't think it's been the most properly communicated scenario around here.''

Moore, coordinator since 1998, and Mudd, the offensive line coach since '98, each retired earlier this month because of concerns with the NFL's pension plan. Owner Jim Irsay plans to bring them back as consultants, ideally for the start of training camp on Aug. 2.

Not knowing the details during the process irritated Manning, who faced losing his two most trusted coaches.

"It's not a situation that I'm just thrilled about,'' he said. "I think the communication has been pretty poor in my opinion. Somebody says one thing, then somebody else says another thing.

"I'm not sure everybody's on the same page in this building. I'm just trying to focus on playing quarterback well.''

Assistant head coach and receivers coach Clyde Christensen is overseeing the offense following Moore's departure while Pete Metzelaars, Mudd's assistant, has taken over full-time position duties. The team also hired interns Frank Winters and Ron Johnson to help with the offensive line and receivers, respectively.

"It's not normal not having a full coaching staff,'' Manning said. "I know we hired a couple of guys to come in, but these guys are learning. They're not offering a lot of coaching out there, I can assure you of that.''

10 more years?

That's awesome. Let's just hope he doesn't turn into Brett Favre ;)

Forget the Playboy... I just might be taking this article with me to the bathroom in my "alone time". :D

I got chills reading that interview. WOW just WOW! That's a very angry Tom Brady. Not good news for the rest of the league.

Brady is equaled only by Richard Branson and Jay-Z in the "ultimate baller in every sense of the word" stratosphere.
